It is an understatement to say that the unemployment rate is on the rise and there appears to be no solution by this present crop of leaders who are just there for selfish gains.

The commonest things most Nigerians do to survive the hardship is trading. As such, it is not uncommon to see the streets filled with traders such that traffic flow is affected.

I suggest therefore that the government should invest in building markets at different locations. And put up plans to build more to accommodate population increase. This will take so many people off street trading and so many can earn a living through trading.

If you check most major cities, hardly new markets are built. The result is over congestion of the existing ones and people using every available space to trade.

We need more markets in different locations. Old markets should be expanded also.
