The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 168 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 66,439. One new death was recorded while there were 70 recoveries. The Federal Capital Territory topped the list. The 168 new cases are reported from 10 states- FCT (61), Lagos (50), Kaduna (27), Oyo (12), Rivers (6), Katsina (5), Ogun (3), Kwara (2), Edo (1), Kano (1). The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 168 cases were from 10 different states. The Federal Capital Territory recorded the highest number of cases with 61. Lagos State followed with 50 cases while Kaduna State had 27 cases. 70 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 62,311 from 62,241. One new death was recorded.
