Ever since the #EndSars saga in my country Nigeria, I have been troubled being that i wasn’t there physically to make my presence felt.

But as a Software Engineer, I felt the best way is to let my actions speak louder than words.
For that, I have created an App called #BeAware
It enables users point out Swat/Sars checkpoints and police brutality with images and every user who has that app within a 100km radius would get a notification on where that is on their mobile phones. This is to help stop police brutality.

Here is the link, available on Google Playstore https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.codecoy.beaware and it is FREE

As it is just the first version, do leave your feedback on the app and tell me what you would want in the next release so i can implement them.
Let’s make Nigeria Great Again.

Let's make this go viral

I love your creativity and desire to cash out from the happenings in the country. Better than the pastor with the crusade poster: your SARS will end

OP nice one, bt dnt u think this is a two edged sword? like people that commit one or two crimes could use the app to evade police checkpoint?
The initiative z a very welcome one bt let all weigh the pros and cons, truly the police dnt perform their duties to the best of their abilities, bt wit thz app i thnk it just make thngs difficult for them to do sme stop nd search at check points whch smetimes yield positive result
