It is quite important to worship God because of His greatness. One of the strengths and uniqueness of true worship of God is that you are worshiping Him not for what you are expecting from Him but because of His greatness. It is a genuine form of Devine appreciation of the Most High who created the Universe.

Read the first chapters of Genesis and experience some of the his creative powers in action. The whole Bible is dotted with the demonstrations of the miraculous power of God, too many to mention !

Have dedicated times that you set apart for the worship of God in your life and develop a prayer/ worship routine.

God will remember you as you remember by way of true Worship.

Don’t be scared of the future. Face it with Hope, enthusiasm and faith. What is looks like a giant mountain today will be your testimony soon. Just assess it, face it, fight it and finish it and then become an overcomer. Even Christ before sitting at the right hand of the most high God faced the challenge of prosecution and crucifixion. Now he is glorified.

Don’t let nothing scare you away. Understand the situation and develop a method to overcome. Have courage. Courage does not mean the situation you are facing is not great, it just means you should step forward, approach the challenge regardless of your state. Engage with the situation with the presence of God.

God will support you as you progress with His presence.

You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. As long as you have Christ on this journey of Hope, you are guaranteed that you will make it by His grace.

Cling on to the power of God in Christ. To benefit from enjoying this supernatural experience, you need to give your life to Jesus. Just make the conscious declaration, ask for forgiveness of you past sins and declare you want to start a new and fresh life in the Lord.

There is Nothing, absolutely nothing that God can not do. If God is that powerful and you have Him on your side on your Journey towards success, why fear? why anxious, why concerned?

Be rest assured, God will come through for you. Do not let any situation put you in a state of hopelessness. You know today, you don’t know tomorrow. You know now, you don’t know the next moment or hour of your life. No time is too long or short for God to change any thing.

He opened the Red Sea for the Israelites at a point one would thing the host of pharaoh will overrun them at the edge of a deep sea. God came through for them in the nick of time!

You need to be close to and have a relationship with the all-powerful, almighty God. Give your life to Jesus if you have not done so for you to have a relationship with his Father, God. The good thing is once you give your life to Jesus, God becomes your father as well! What a privilege.

No matter where you are on your Journey towards excellence in Hope, have a thankful heart. Be Thankful to God for even giving you hope towards a positive expected end. Also thankful for where you are and where you are going. Be thankful to people who will help you on the way to success. No appreciation is too small or big.

Remember before the miracle that fed thousands in the Bible Jesus gave thanks. You can count a lot of the miracles that was performed through Christ and link the preceding action to thankfulness. There is something about thankfulness and it is a mystery of the kingdom.

Don’t just focus on your needs and aspirations but pay attention to those who are suffering around you. While you are struggling to get to the next level in your career, life, level of wealth; someone is struggling to exist on planet earth. One meal to a child somewhere in the world would make a difference if they will die or live.

Let us play our part in supporting people in need. God blessed us to be a blessing. If there is one golden message I got out of Living Faith Church/ Tabernacle- Second service today, it is this message of supporting the poor. It is so vital and so important.

There are needs around us, let’s pay attention to them. What is nothing to you is abundance to someone else. Let’s go out there and be a blessing to this world. Put aside politics, differences, different ways of thinking. Let’s just go out there and help the needy.

The gap between where you are now and where you want to be can be see in different perspectives. One of such is time. Time is what is between your “now” and where you want to be. How are you managing that time?

How are you planning that time, how much discipline are you putting into ensuring you “work” your plan. How much are you investing in that time to be a better you. How much prayer is going into that time to shape your future and how much time are you committing to ensuring the time is rightly spend. As you can see there is a lot n time! It is one of the key life resource you need on your journey of Hope.

Don’t waste time. The Bible says redeeming the time for the days are evil. Don’t waste your time. Wasting time is tantamount to wasting life! Very important. Pay attention to what you do everyday and evaluate which activity is taking you forward, keeping you the same or taking you backward. You only need forward moving activities to accelerate you to your breakthrough.

Another gap between where you are on your Journey of Hope is events. Events will happen in your life at various points on your Journey towards excellence. Pay attention to the events, analyse the events and make responsive decisions to the events.

Some of the events will mask as life-changing opportunities, don’t let it pass you bye. Seize the opportunity regardless of the state you are in. Two thieves experienced an agonising effect at crucifixion with Christ. One of them was negative but the other seized the opportunity to reach out to Jesus and Jesus promised him he will be with him in paradise. He made it, despite.

Opportunities come in all shapes and forms, pay attention. Opportunities will face you in different ways, take courage and grasp the opportunity.

God bless you as he gives you the wisdom to manage events and opportunities as they emerge in your life.

As per the sermon at Faith tabernacle Ota in the first service. Financial fortunes can be attained by fearing the Lord. As was read at the call to Worship scripture in Psalms 112 about a man who feared the Lord and wealth and Riches was in his house.

Can I encourage you to develop the fear of the Lord in you as you progress on your Journey of Hope. Fear Him in all your transactions and He will reward you. Serve God and conduct all your dealings with utmost integrity.

Keep pressing on towards your mark of high calling. At times there will be pressures pushing against you in moving forward. You need to keep pressing on. It was Paul in the Bible who said he was pressing towards the mark of the high calling. Such is life, at times, to make progress, you have to apply some pressure to getting the momentum going.

At times life requires that extra push to succeed. At times it will take you out of your comfort zone. This is when you make a choice between playing or planning. This is when you decide between chilling out or praying. This is also when you choose between the option of relaxation or implementation of planned goals to take you forward.

God Bless and energise you as you press on in His power and strength.

On your Journey towards excellence, remember to live in righteousness and holiness. The Bible says, without holiness no man can please God. The Bible also quotes that God is holy and we are created in His image.

God wants us to live for Him and be holy as He is holy. Righteousness exalts a nation. If righteousness exalts a nation, then righteousness can exalt you.

God will strengthen us as we aim to walk in His holiness. Righteousness and holiness are cool things. The Bible refers to beauty of Holiness. This demonstrates that holiness is a good virtue to be attained. It is not hard work but trying to emulate Christ. If Christ lived holy on earth so can we.

God will help us on the journey of excellence as we hope in Him living in Holiness and Righteousness.

Don’t give up, keep pressing on. Be encouraged. What’s looks like a difficult situation today will be a source of testimony tomorrow. Face it in God’s name and see Him come through for you.

Put on the whole armour of God on your Journey of Hope towards your greatness and future

One of the key armour as in the scripture is shield of faith. You particularly need the shield of faith. Faith is quite key because it is the shield of faith that you will use to quench the fiery darts of the enemy.

Fiery darts will be thrown at you but it is the shield of faith that quenches it. Fiery darts have fire at the end point, so not only does it hit, it also ignites to fire on the head front at ultimately destroys its target.

Embrace faith, study faith and pray faith to be strong in you.

In the fourth service at Living Faith Tabernacle at Ota, the man of God, Bishop David Obioye reminds us of the importance of Thanksgiving and Praise. It is of so much importance that it was illustrated as what sustains blessing. We were advised to thank God for where we are so as to rise to the next level of blessings.

I would like to encourage us that we should have a thankful attitude no matter where we are on the journey towards excellence. Thanks Him and Thanks Him and Thank Him. Don’t let nothing be too small to thank him for. It is God that has kept you alive and providing for you so do not take anything for granted.

As you thank Him, as we thank Him, greater doors will open for us in Jesus name. God will elevate us all as we lift up our hands and praise and thank God for 40 years of a great mandate given by God to our father in the Lord , Bishop David Oyedepo. To God be the glory and we are so thankful to God for the favour that has accompanied the mandate and the numerous fulfilment of great prophesies in which this generation including myself is a partaker and benefited from in no little way.

Remember it is a week long celebration of God’s faithfulness so you can still join and be a partaker of God’s greatness.

Don’t be tired. What if you are so close to your promise land at this point. What if the next prayer, the next action or the next project lands you on your breakthrough? Only God knows tomorrow. Keep pressing on.

This is a reminder that obedience is key to success on your Journey of Hope. Most levels of successes can be attained in the Divine realm leading to physical success by fulfilment of certain conditions.

Fulfilment of those certain conditions is what is called obedience. Just like Deuteronomy 11:22. This could be adhering to the written commandments in the Bible or the voice of the Lord in the Bible or specific instructions to you personally.

Note that in Deuteronomy scripture above in Chapter 11 is about the blessings that will come as a result of obeying certain precepts or conditions.
A specific divine instruction came to Isaac to not join others to go to Egypt when everyone was leaving as a result of famine. He obeyed God and did not joined everyone and stayed in the land and reaped one hundred fold.

Lastly remember to develop a willing heart. A willing heart helps with Obedience. Develop a willing heart. A willing heart is an obeying heart. Isaiah 1:19.

Remember obey God and maximise the success attached to the conditions for the blessing. Be willing and be prompt.

As you press on towards your journey of Hope towards excellence, please avoid distractions. Distractions comes in many ways and masks in various forms. This can be an unexpected event, issues, challenges or other situations or happening.

Address the issues but manage your time and attention and the situation that you come back on course and press on towards your mark of His high calling.

Your time, your life and your future is worth it, do not let distractions stop you.

There is Hope for you, no matter what and how hard the situation is presently. Don’t give up, keep pressing on. God knows and sees your plans and will bring them to reality. Just keep on trusting in Him. He will never let you down.

The darkest hour they say is not too far from the morning. You might be closer to your miracle than you think. Don’t give up.

The Bible says in all situation, give thanks to God. The scripture further says in psalms 34 that “ I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth “. Let this be your stand and principle in all situations.

Remember, bless the Lord at all times.

On your journey of Hope, you need the Spirit of God to sustain you around various areas of life that determines your deeper connection with God to get to our promise land.

The Spirit of Obedience is key and important in sustaining your tendency to be obedient to God. Obedience is key to your blessing. Quite a lot of time in the Bible, there are examples in which blessings are tied to acts of obedience. One of such is Deuteronomy 28:1-14.

The Spirit of Love, very vital Spirit because it helps you to love the Lord unconditionally. This is the same kind of the Love of God towards mankind called Agape Love. The Love of God is vital and quite key in blessing and walking with God. As seen in the book of Timothy in the Bible. If you have the Spirit of Love in you, you can not have the Spirit of the fear of man. The scripture reads, God had not given us the Spirit of fear, but that of power and of Love and sound mind.

You need the Spirit of Servanthood. Very important and good. The Spirit of servanthood develops and sustains the drive and delight to serve God. Serving God is one of the most beautiful thing to do on earth. Serve God with humility. Serve in any department and area where there is a need and where you believe God will use you to impact His people.

Remember, embrace the Spirit of Obedience, Love and Servanthood.

Thanksgiving is quite key to sustaining us going forward on the journey of Hope and also when you have reached the place of excellence. You need to be thankful to God on the journey of Hope. You have to be thankful for every good thing God does in your life. Every moment you meet with God’s blessings, give thanks and appreciate and celebrate it.

No testimony is too big and none is too small. Let God get all the glory of every successful event in your life. Actually, one of the reason that people do not get to the next realm of blessing is because they don’t thank God for what God has done in their lives at their present level.

A heart of appreciation is key and quite important to pressing on towards your aspirations. Think about you last few breakthroughs, have you given glory to God for them and have you given the testimony about God’s goodness? It is not too late to Praise God and appreciate the past blessings. Think about the past and glorify the Lord for His goodness.

Remember, be thankful to God and appreciate Him for past blessings.
