Students seem not to have an idea the effects their handwriting has on their academics generally. Your handwriting as a student matters a lot as it can either improve your academic performance or lead to poor academic performance. A student with a bad handwriting may have his/her lecturer or teacher finding it difficult to read and understand what the student has written and this can have a negative effect on the academic performance of the student in external examination and their research projects. When a lecturer cannot read what a student has written, he/she takes it that the student does not know what he/she has written. In such a case, there is likelihood that the student will lose some marks as a result of that and this will affect his/her grades.
