It is truly not easy to be faithful in this era. We truly cannot fake it, but it is fact. Even some who are faithful are enduring or struggling to be faithful. Deep down, some will go astray or wish to go astray if there will be no repercussion or consequences. We live in a generation loaded with lust. Men walking in the streets and thinking nonsense about women, Women walking as though nothing is happening, but sexually ransacking men in their hearts. We also have men and women cheating on their partners-I mean having live sex with people other than their marriage partners. We have ladies who could be on the phone with their partner, yet naked having sex with another while on phone..... We have fiance or fiancees sleeping with others few days to their wedding.

Now, before you judge anyone, judge yourself first. It doesnt make sense to condemn a gender, person or whoever, when you are also committing same thing. There are reasons why the prevalence of cheating has heightened.

(1) Pornography: This is one of the enhancers of infidelity. You cannot be a porn watcher and not battle with faithfulness. With all those scenarios of sex you watch, you will find it hard not to try more of perversion even with others. So if you have a lovely wife, and you go out, and see a lady that looks like one of the porn stars youve watched, you could become pressured to have her. Porn watchers battle with the mind, and this can lead to unfaithfulness.

(2) Pre-marital Sex: Pre-marital sex is a door to unfaithfulness in marriage. You cannot sleep with 20 persons using various sexual techniques and think you could stay with a marriage partner forever without cheating. That over-testing will make you love varieties. You will find it hard to get satisfied with just one person. Even if your marriage partner is good in bed, there may be the tendency to want to taste newer faces or ex.

(3) Social Media Addiction: You want to be faithful, yet you spend huge hours on badoo, facebook, whatsapp etc chatting people without purpose. It is said "an idle mind is the devil's workshop". So if you keep exploring the internet, you may want to try new things or experience new persons, and from there you could engage in unhealthy relationships.

(4) Unnecessary Closeness to the Opposite Sex: "I know myself", "we are just friends", "aah! dont you trust me", "aaah! we are close but i have limits"..Before you know it, you may be fully naked on bed with a person that is not your spouse. It is wrong to be unnecessarily close to the opposite sex when married; whether man or woman. True life story: A married Christian lady fell into adultery because she was close to a single guy. She later confessed to her husband two weeks after sleeping with the guy. She even got pregnant, and because of the Christian fate, the baby was kept. You still can commit murder.

If you want to be faithful, look for things that wont heighten your sexual drive unnecessarily...

You captured the points aptly.... a lot of people seem to downplay nos 3 and 4 especially....but they are strong temptation grounds and recipes for been unfaithful.

God will save us...the devil is really gaining using sexual tools..
