Yes. By those who fought for our independence but were not allowed to rule. The crooked military truncated their dream, killed some and jailed others and they in turn cursed Nigeria. Do you think the daily insanity from Aso Rock is ordinary?

Note: I am not joking.

The law has been abolished in many countries and you can research about it to disprove the assertion. AMAC don't longer charge 200,000 naira on business owners but 500,000 which has collapsed some small and medium business enterprises in the FCT. Just with a radio or Tv in your shop to kill boredom, you will be charged 200 to 500 thousand naira. Some business are not even worth 200,000 naira, how much is a 24 inch T v compare with the charge. You need to see how people beg helpslessly in court on fridays at Wuse magistrate court for leniency. barbing saloon, laundry shops, tailouring shops among other petty shops are not spared. It is even worse for the people after the wake of covid 19 AMAC took many business owners to court while still stuggling to cope with reviving their businesses making life difficult and making business easily progresss, some took loans with one hand for their business AMAC takes moneu from the other hand from business holders by issuing ridiculous bills just to frustrate businesses in Abuja. Pls check AMAC bye laws and see the numbers of ridiculous bills business holders have to pay.

Na those vacant edifices in asokoro maitama, jabi and other eyebrow areas that need to be taxed 1m naira each. Most of those buildings are worth billions of naira but nobody is living there. Na only birds dey shout chao, chao for inside the house. I wonder why they've not gone the kemi adeosun way who brought up an idea of taxiing owners of such houses...the main reason they removed her. The nysc mata na just excuse. The majority of the serving public officers are guilty of same offence they claimed she committed. At least, I know 2 expensive houses in asokoro which belongs to one fulaniman still serving as governor. This country is a joke under apc. They know what to do to raise money but they keep hitting the masses hard

I have never heard about this type of tax anywhere in the world how can someone be taxed for living in an area where the govt established a radio and tv station? This buhari's regime have totally lost all legitimacy to still remain in power.
