The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 122 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 67,960. One new death was recorded while there were 409 recoveries. Kaduna State topped the list. The 122 new cases are reported from 11 states- Kaduna (37) Lagos (29 ), Plateau (25), Ekiti (9), Rivers (5), Ogun (5), Edo (4) Kwara (4), Bayelsa (2), Bauchi (1), and Kano (1). The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 122 cases were from 11 different states. Kaduna State recorded the highest number of cases with 37. Lagos State followed with 29 cases while Plateau State had 25 cases. 409 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 63,839 from 63,430. One new death was recorded.
