The problem with contemporary young generation is that many of you were born into your families when morality vacated your family homes. Being strict is different from being wicked, he is discipling you as his own children so your future can be better, you are here ranting he is wicked.

Many of you just like places you will not be tamed so that you can do whatever you want like forming cult groups on campus, turning campus to Olosho house. If he is not strict and people still allow to do whatever they like, these spoilt rats will still come back here to complain and cast aspersions if any bad thing goes wrong with the school. Go to Catholic schools and see descipline, you these spoilt rats.

Your fathers get money, but lack morality, so when your fathers finally dumb you into CU as correctional center, you begin to misunderstand 'strictness' to ' wickedness' because your fathers failed to even show you '101' of moralities before you left for school because your families lack moralities in the first place. If you like to become wayward and hates descipline, no need of going there, go to federal and state universities and do what you like. Judas Iscariots!

Somebody is sweating to make you great, you call it wickedness! Spoilt rats! Go to volatile areas in North and ask for the meaning of wickedness!
'if u are not with ur Bible stand up' ... "You are hereby expell 4rom the university for not carrying ur Bible to class"...... is dat strictness? Dat is purely wickedness from the pit of HELL

You even have time to reply them. Thread like this is what most of them want to see, and don't be surprised most of them are lying but the fact that most of them hate the man, they will embrace the news and using it as an opportunity to express their hatred. Lols

I don't see what the whole hullabo is about.

They have their rules, there are people who have graduated successfully from CU without issues .

Discipline and morality is scarce amongst this generation.

Its a private Christian school, obey their rules.

Besides CU has produced outstanding graduates so there must be something they are doing right.

Late 90s to very early 2000s , each branch of winners chapel sowed a seed every Sunday to the development of covenant university. All the money was remitted to the headquarters.

Several years later, Oyedepo said he never took a dime from anyone to build covenant university. Imagine such audacity. Forget religion, I'm a Christian and believe in God almighty but you see these pastors ehn.

Had a couple of folks who graduated from the University. That man na zero nonsense man. Like someone said, forget what you see in/fr canaanland, Shiloh and the likes. If you want to see the real Oyedepo, go to covenant university. The man goes about campus looking for the next scape goat and he no dey hear "sorry sir" or "abeg sir" . Same man that preaches forgive and forget. Any small thing na expulsion, if you get luck , suspension and if you get more luck, he go just curse you and tell you to go grin

Many students are usually expelled without even facing a disciplinary committee. Even if you do, it's a waste of time coz it will never favour you.

Despite all this, you dare not complain or protest else you're a goner. Most CU students actually live in fear and oppression. The man is more of a ruthless dictator.
See enn, only God would help us. Many youth are always speaking against discipline. I graduated from University of Ilorin, and you dare not try and wear skimpy dresses or barb one stupid hair style, you will be charged and expelled. They already told us all this things right from the day we were writing post ume and yet people will still complain as if they were not told. The man of God is running the school for kingdom's sake, that is you were a bad boy before came to CU, you must repent before going back, the school is meant for God.

Don't mind them. Terrorising people to convert, how? Did he kidnap, or throw bombs? The government of Kwara state.as.a whole is not as significant as Oyedepo to Omu Aran.
Hatred for anything Christian is all too common here.
As we are currently being ruled in Nigeria by liars and wicked people, as demonstrated by the gang up of paid hacks and trolls that attack decency and praise degeneracy, WE WILL NOT BE QUIET.
OYEDEPO IS A RARE BREED. HE IS HUMAN, AS SUCH HE ISN'T PERFECT.

This kind of reasoning is why SARS have gotten away with oppressing young Nigerians for so long. Any young man with a flashy car is a "criminal". Any young man with dreads and tattoos is a "criminal". Any young person that is not "formerly dressed" is a "criminal". Like play, like play see what happened as a result. Until we understand the concept of "freedom of expression and association" we will continue to perpetrate this oppressive culture.

Useless thread.

No one forced you to attend the school.

Covenant University is what it is today because of the high standards upheld by David Oyedepo.

All the people calling him out, would rather the school is a place where anything goes without repercussions.

Where sexual recklessness thrive
Where exam score are purchase
Where campus cult thrive.
Where petty criminality is the other of the day.

God has used David Oyedepo, to put his feet down and ensure that doesn't happen and if it happens, it only happens by error.

God bless him.

Leave them, they should go to state and public schools where cultism prevails, students live as husband and wife and sex for good grade is the new normal, that is part of why we have educated illiterates as graduates cos they can't defend their certificate,

No one put a gun to anyones head to attend CU, if they are looking for who to blame, they should blame their parents for taking them to CU.

You may say whatever you like about the man or his university. But the truth is that the university and her students are doing very well. Covenant university students that do internship in my office are exceptionally good. They are so good that the management retain many of them except for those who want to further their studies.

This generation don't want law and order. They desire freedom without restrictions. Can you do tattoo or deadlock and go for job interview? The school has rule and regulations. If you feel you can abide by them why going there then?

If you know you cannot abide by the rules and regulation of a country, go and establish your own country

Same goes for school. If you cant go by the rules, tell your father to go and establish one then, you can do as you please.
