Pregnancy is a physiological state and not a disease condition hence every woman who gets pregnant should have their babies delivered without any issue. However this is usually not the case as complications could arise and one of such complications is PREECLAMPSIA which could be a life threatening one that could claim the lives of both the mother and fetus.
It's important to note that preeclampsia despite being a serious condition is preventable and it's sad that PREECLAMPSIA is still claiming the lives of many African women as it's one of the 5 leading cause of maternal deaths in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa .
