A first class traditional ruler in Kogi State, Alhaji Shaibu Usman has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.

Alhaji Usman, who is the current Acting Eje Of Ankpa, was kidnapped on Friday at about 5:30am, while entering a Mosque in Ankpa.

It was further learnt that the kidnappers had laid ambush at the mosque, and zoomed off immediately with the Traditional Ruler to yet to be ascertained destination.

DAILY POST gathered that the abductors of the monarch are yet to make any contact with the family.

Meanwhile, the Kogi State Police Command has confirmed the kidnap of the traditional ruler.

Speaking to DAILY POST on Friday, the Kogi State Commissioner of Police, Ayuba Edeh said the command was not resting on its oars until the Acting Eje of Ankpa was released.

He stated that the police had cordoned-off all entry and exit points into the State, with the view to rescuing the Traditional Ruler.

Speaking on the incident, the Kogi State Commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo, said efforts are on to ensure that the traditional ruler is secured safely.

According to him, “The State Government is working with security agencies to ensure his release”.

Is expected, u can't give what u don't HV. This is calamity afonjas brought all bcs of their selfish interest.
Buhari till 2050, a man that spent 4 years without achieving anything u still had the confidence of reelecting him.
A man that never achieved anything since he left military, no additional qualification, no business, no book he ever launched,
A man that doesnt mingle with people, afonjas en no go better for Una.
Look at the rate of kidnapping, hunger, anger and frustration.
An average youth out their is into one crime or the other, 7 out of 10 youths are into cyber crime. Nigerians never had it bad like this before

The rising trend of kidnapping and other crimes is a direct consequences of failed economic and security policies. This present government is a mistake Nigerians shouldn't have made. It's quite sad we will continue counting our losses till 2023.

What am I missing?
Why so much hardship?
Why too many rejection when I go for work? Where will my lunch come from today?
What have I done to be this broke and depressed.

Remember if you support the government in good times, you will enjoy the good things. If you also keep quiet in bad times, it will get to you.

Where are the foot soldiers of the government?
Shall we continue like this?
