Singer Wizkid has made former US President Barack Obama’s 2020 favorite music alongside singer Tems, Igbere TV reports.

Mr Obama, 59, revealed this in a tweet on Saturday.

He said he was able to create the list with the help of his youngest daughter Sasha.

Wizkid and Tems made the list for their song ‘Essence’.

“Here are some of my favorite songs of the year. As usual, I had some valuable consultation from our family music guru, Sasha, to put this together. I hope you find a new song or two to listen to,” he wrote.

‘Essence’ is track 11 on Wizkid’s fourth studio album Made In Lagos (MIL).

In August, Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy and Tems made Obama’s 2020 summer playlist.

Mavin Records singer Rema was the last Nigerian who made Obama’s favourite songs of 2019 with his single ‘Iron Man’.

I wonder why the likes of Johnny Drille doesn't reach this far when he sings far reasonable than Wizkid, frog and mopping stick.

This year alone, Wizkid has won 2 awards for brown skin girl, got a grammy nomination, got the best album and still he acts like nothing happened.....

Obama has a really good taste in music, wizkid smile track featuring h. e. r made it in to Obama's summer playlist of 2020.

wizkid featured five upcoming Nigerian artists while Davido featured 5 US mainstream artists including Nicki Minaj, Chris brown and co, but WizKid's own album is bossing #AbetterTime in the US.

Wizkid #Madeinlagos has spent 50 consecutive days on UK apple top ten album chart. The only album to achieve that feat this decade.
