The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 920 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 77,933. Six new deaths were recorded while there were 300 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list.

The 920 new cases are reported from 18 states - Lagos (308), FCT (207), Kaduna (179), Plateau (46), Niger (43), Adamawa (26), Sokoto (18), Rivers (16), Yobe (15), Enugu (13), Kano (13), Ogun (12), Delta (10), Edo (5), Osun (3), Oyo (3), Anambra (2), and Ekiti (1).

The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 920 cases were from 18 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 308. The Federal Capital Territory followed with 207 cases while Kaduna State had 179 cases. 300 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 67,784 from 67,484. Six new deaths were recorded.
