This is an interesting question some drivers may have asked. Some would argue that the engine of a car is like it’s soul and is designed to operate at it’s optimal performance within a certain temperature. So far your engine is in good working condition, there’s no need to rest it when you have a long distance to travel. Cars do not need to rest under normal conditions. As long as they don’t heat up you can continue driving. It’s important to monitor the temperature of the engine to make sure it doesn’t overheat in very warm weather conditions.
