I tend to agree with him that many people died during the protests especially when criminals took over. Dead bodies were not uncommon in most parts of Lagos. Quite unfortunate that lives were lost.

Funny enough, if you understand Lagos very well, you will know that there are a lot of homeless people in Lagos and some who have been disconnected from real family members, some moved to Lagos without parental consent and a lot of such people joined the protest.

So, it will be very hard to see anyone showing up to claim such bodies.

My suggestion, if the faces of the bodies could be displayed, I assure you, even if the real family members don't show up, you will see people identifying the bodies quickly.

When patients are hospitalised, their folders have the days of admission registered and there is also a central register that records the biodata (date of entry, sex, age, etc) of such patients.

This is the same way it is done when bodies are taken into the morgue.

In 2012, there were numerous unclaimed bodies and there was no SARS, the attempt to confuse people that unclaimed bodies now are from the protest requires more than speaking in parables.
