Nigeria failed him but you won't blame government for the error of the Hospital. How was an ambulance on a rescue mission went without oxygen in the first instance?

Fear God in all dealing.
Let ignore our bad leader and make Nigeria great again.
Please these leaders are to be changed completely in 2023 NO to APC, NO to PDP.
if they rig the election we must not agree with them
let them still the money
we will contribute money as youth and elect our own leader
and do what they can not do for this country.

“The ambulance that came for Dr. Nnadi didn’t even have oxygen and by the time he arrived the A&E he was already blue, lying lifeless on the stretcher!

Too many ambulances in Nigeria without oxygen tanks. Something that the patients' families would gladly pay for!

I saw this story on Twitter and I was furious.

There are less than 100 neurosurgeons in Nigeria.

Useless politicians are living Long by squandering our wealth on medical tourism while highly specialised health workers die to poor emergency and transport system.

People are moving around with this virus. It does not take anything to wear mask and regularly sanitise your hands. If you won't do it for yourself, at least think of your loved ones and dependants.

Asthma is real. Keep your inhaler on you at all times.

RIP.

Just an observation, nowadays, if one dies of road accident, as long as he is positive for covid 19, he'll be recorded as a covid mortality. Not only in Nigeria; everywhere.

Very sad my brother. When I was in the hospital last year and I needed oxygen, if you see the way those nurses and doctors fixed tubes into my nostrils, half of the oxygen was wasting away as there was no oxygen mask. The funniest part of it was when the nurses will come to check on me and say is the oxygen mask well fitted? I was like, what the f is wrong with you that you calling these rubber tubes mask?

He died from an acute asthmatic attack.
Just because a blood test was done, that does not prove that he died from Covid-19.

Even if the Covid-19 test was reliable and the result was positive, the most that can be said is that he died with Covid-19, not from Covid-19.
In the same way, if a person is HIV positive and dies from an illness, it does not necessarily mean that he died from AIDS.

All these "how" articles are redundant and designed only to be clickbait.

Besides, "how Mr X died of a a deadly disease" is redundant because the title already tells us how.

Do you know that asthma patients are at increased risk they catch Covid-19 infection?
Anyone who dies within 28 days of Covid-19 infection is deemed to have died of Covid-19.
Post mortem should that he had Covid-19 infection.
Of course medical Frontline staff are at risk of Covid-19 infection generally.

Medical staff + asthma and or diabetes, heart disease, obesity immunosuppression, receiving chemotherapy treatment, are bad combos.

The hospital cultute in Nigeria is that ambulances are vehicles of passage not first points of treatment. They donot understand that an apt, professional service increases their chances of success and promotes the image of the healthcare centre.

Its all in a culture that pays more attention to funerals than life itself, a society that gives up far too easy in the laps of mediocrity.
