That budget money huge gan ooo...By my calculation, the passed 2021 Budget is equivalent to 34,447,957,400 Billion Dollars...THAT IS HUGE MONEY...Yet, nothing substantial is achieved from the budget. Rather, unimportant areas such as politicians' remuneration.e.g National Assembly Salary is given priority

Omoh see money.

#13 trillion.

PDP was doing #4trillion.

Now APC is doing #13 trillion.

The deficit will be gotten through external borrowing.

It's well with Nigeria.

Trillions this, Trillions that... yet, they've not been able to solve the very simple challenges of basic infrastructures in the nation. angry

Since 1960, it's been the same over and again. Maybe it's time something else was done. angry
For a population of 200million,$35billion as a budget is very little.

Wahala.. cry

I thought the Senate threatened not to approve the budget until Buhari gives an explanation about the security in the country. Or am I mistaken?

Oh, I think it's the house of Representatives.

Let me give you this illustration. Oil price on the bench mark of 50 dollar per barrel.
2.5mill barrels perday =125million usd.
125mill×30days=3.75billion usd.
3.75 billion usd ×12=45billion usd.
45billion usd ×350naira=15.75trillion naira
That they will embezzled
Good analysis! But I think the number of barrels has been dropped to 2.2 million

Vanity upon Vanity.

Showcasing of expensive cars.
Showcasing of flamboyant houses.
Showcasing of expensive designers.
Showcasing of wealth and luxurious lifestyle.
Showcasing of oppressive attitudes.

All of these don't move me in Nigeria.
Everything in the midst of poverty capital.
Everything in the midst of alarming unemployment.
Everything in the midst of science/technology stagnation.
Everything in the midst of epileptic power supply.
Everything in the midst of poor health care.
Everything in the midst of falling education standard.
Everything in the midst of inadequate security of lives/properties.

Until Nigeria can solve some of its basic problems like India,
without importing expatriates or over-depending on foreign goods
at expense of local production, All of these don't move me in Nigeria.

We imported palm oil and maize even before buhari/insecurity crept in.
We need more factories and industries in Nigeria now.
