We start from verse 18, the writer by the teaching of the Holy Spirit made a statement that it is unworthy for the present sufferings to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
The child of God has been called to inherit a blessing(1 Peter 3:9), has been called though unmerited to the Holy Father’s kingdom and glory(1 Thess 2:12) according to His good pleasure.

God having given through Christ Jesus by His divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.
by which we have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partaker of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

➖ CREATION EARNEST EXPECTATION FOR THE REVEALING OF THE SONS OF GOD.

Moving on to verse 19, we learn that creation earnest expectation is the revealing of the sons of God which it eagerly waits for.
The sons of God are those who are led by the Spirit of God, and we know that the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness and truth(Eph 5:9).

Creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope because creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God

Whole creation groans and labour sin birth pangs till now. I’ve made some observations that I’d like to share with you, not sure if any of you have noticed it but feel free to check it out later.

Some days ago I n the starry night, I saw some stars blinking rapidly, some changes color, I also spotted some new stars not white like the rest but orange, uh yellow-like, if you take your time to go out this night to look at the stars, you might be able to spot some of them too.
❕
Some days before I saw two stars moving, a friend of mine when we were coming back from a weekly service also told me that he saw one star moving in the night and no we are not confusing those stars with air craft or satellites in space.
❕
Even another time again, it was brief, I saw one bright star move across the sky very fast, one moment it was there another moment it wasn’t there. Last week Sunday, early in the morning, maybe some of you noticed it, thee way the sun, moon and a morning star aligned perfectly in a straight line.

(2) RESILIENT PERSEVERANCE OF THE HOPEFUL CHILDREN OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS.

We will look at three things now:
➖ THE SAINTS IN CHRIST GROANING AND EAGER WAITING FOR THE REDEMPTION OF THEIR BODIES.
➖ THE SAINTS IN CHRIST SAVED IN THIS HOPE.
➖ THE HOPEFUL SAINTS IN CHRIST EARGERLY AWAIT THE ADOPTION WITH PERSEVERANCE.

➖ THE SAINTS IN CHRIST GROANING AND EAGER WAITING FOR THE REDEMPTION OF THEIR BODIES.

Romans 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

Even us too now groan within ourselves, waiting day-to-day anxiously awaiting our redemption, our adoption. We through faith and patience in Christ eager wait. Christ Jesus is coming and will not tarry, so please keep the faith, keep on fighting and run your race with endurance.

➖ THE SAINTS IN CHRIST SAVED IN THIS HOPE.

We were saved in this hope, don’t you remember? When you gave your life to Christ Jesus by faith! That just like how He was raised from death by the Father’s divine power, for if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection.

➖ THE HOPEFUL SAINTS IN CHRIST EARGERLY AWAIT THE ADOPTION WITH PERSEVERANCE.

So please remain strong, be strong, we have need for endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.

Now remain steadfast in the faith, immovable and abounding in the work of the alord for our labour is not in vain. With perseverance in Christ Jesus through faith and patience keep on running this race with endurance in such a manner that we may be among those who gains the prize.

Our citizenship is in heaven from which we also eargerly await for the Saviour who will transform our body to be conformed to His glorious body(Phil 3:17-21).

The Spirit also helps in our weaknesses, for we know not what we should pray for as we ought to but the Spirit stands in the gap and makes intercession for us according to the will of God with groaning which cannot be uttered.

All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose.
For whom He foreknew before the foundation of the world(2 Tim 1:9, 2:19), He also predestinate to be conformed to the image of His sin, that the Lord Jesus might be the firstborn among many brethren.

1. Keep on believing in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
2. Make no provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts.
3. Love one another.
4. Abstain from all appearance of evil.
5. Hold fast what is good.
6. Acknowledge God in all your ways.
7. Give thanks to God through Christ Jesus for this is His will for us.
8. Pray without ceasing.
9. Read your Bible daily.
10. Rejoice always.
11. Be patient and keep the faith, for it is through faith and patience in Christ that we might inherit the promises from God.
12. Grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.

OBEY THE COMMANDMENTS OF OUR LORD!
I) Love your the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength and with all your mind.
II) Love your neighbour as yourself(A command directly from our Lord Jesus Christ to you).

Let your light so shine before men, that when they see your good works, they will glorify your Father in Heaven.

Our Lord Jesus is coming, His coming is as a thief in the night, as we also await the trumpet sound.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 - 18
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Rejoice always
