The only reason why I like Ákwá Ibom and cross River state, is because it is a no-go area for stealing,and armed robbery of any kind. Unlike, here in Onitsha where some body's handset or bag will be collected by hoodlums, and people will be passing without minding or helping to chase the criminal. But I don't support jungle justice anyways. Just beat the thief and hand him over to the police.

If Nigerians channel this same anger towards people who put this country in the state of nadir, things would be better for it. But you see them hailing politicians and burning petty robbers. The most evil and dangerous people in this world are hypocrites, they can do anything just to save face.

I lay a curse on those whoose hands led to the dead of this young man,for they have taken a life they cant make,look at the blood of a man who they claim stole a battery littered upon the earth,look at the flesh of a man been roasted like yam in broad day light,the man they just killed and condemend may be clean & better than them,even the book of liviticus has stated standard inwhich God wrote down himself & in a case like this according to biblical principles,the thief should be beaten & left to return or pay damages he has cost,not to take his life,when wrong things happen the society jubilate without taking time to see & think deep,it is quite obvious that young man may never be a thieve but out of persuation & situation beyong every control,pressure mount upon him which may lead him to where he is now.how many of the people looking at his burnt body will gladly offer that young man assistance if he told them his problem when he was breathing..YAhVEH Elohim is greater than them & the end will tell beter.

they did it in ile ife osun state , 3 bike thieves were caught on two different occasions , after burning them, some of them cut and eat out of the thieves body at the spot ,while some of them cut and took parts away . I don't understand what's going on with people

He stole the damn battery of an empty car ,he didn't shoot or maim anybody, the worse they could have done to him was to hand him over to the police, since the said item was already recovered.
This bunch are just bloodthirsty criminals,I bet they've done worse than this guy.
This nonentities are the same idiots that welcomes thieving politicians with an open hand whenever they come knocking.

Don't they have elders in this community to advise them well? They should have also burnt his wife and kids too or his mum, dad and siblings who depend on him for survival, because it's no use keeping them alive. I don't support stealing but not all thieves deserve this, the hardened ones who kill people during robbery certainly do but the one trying to survive just needs a thorough beating and freed. Imagine kids watching this will grow with guts to kill and lose all human sympathy and conscience. The governor needs to stop being silent over this. As educated as he is, he should know better.
