While our black ladies hope to take their black men home for marriage gbam he gets married to a white lady betraying the black women who longed for him for him.....
Ok so because of this single example you concluded that marrying outside your race is a betrayal?

Stop recircling this rubbish, marrying outside your race is betrayal coupled with inferiority complex

#5 is what I’m dealing with now. I go to a RCCG church in Texas only because my wife and kids, especially my kids have made friends there and my kids participate in various activities there. A mosque is better than some RCCG churches when it comes to gossip, jealousy and ego. They all shout “God bless you”. But I’ve never seen a place with so much contempt for another parishioner’s blessing. Everything is dragged through a microscope.

You are right brother, they look down on each other, they want to know how he is making it, if he/she have papers, where he/she comes from etc. Some don't want anyone to be more successful than them.

There is so much envy, hatred and they are never contented. Most of the church members or workers are adulterous.

Im not trying to be biased or to condemn any
church. C&S or celestial churches are extreme

You need that more than i do, the example you gave and your first comment got nothing in common, you are not bold enough to stand by your first comment, you probably just came across that word and end up using it in a wrong content.

OP your no5 is shit. Ain't no fucking truth in it. If e happened for the church wey u be attend no mean say na so e dey for all RCCG branches in UK. As a matter fact for those planning relocation, the best thing to do for yourselves is locating a 9ja church o if not eh you dey alone for der.

My official 1st job here was connected to me by a brother from the church. In the RCCG parish I do worship we are to ourselves the family members we don't have here.

I can't so deal with most of you who will run to Nairaland to either run Nigeria down or the whole Africa because you've gotten the opportunity of leaving. Though, I will agree with some of your assertions especially Black to Black kind of giving attitude but still it's none of my business.

I agree with the opportunity to get connected in RCCG. I have been a beneficially. I think the best thing is to know how to relate with them in the Church.

When you said ... let me tackle your points one by one.. I thought you were going to actually dispute her points but no you went on attacking her and asking questions.

This is exactly what many Nigerians churches have trained their members to do, anybody that dare criticise a church or a pastor will be met with army of keyboard warriors who will throw around insults.

You are a hypocrite.

The OP's post was filled with barely concealed contempt and condescension for her fellow Nigerians.

Laced with snippets of spite and prejudice.

I reply her with harsh words.

That's the way of our people.

We don't sugarcoat foolishness.

BY THE WAY, where are critics like you when nearly 90 per cent of the contributors engage in ethnic abuse and raw ethnic hostility and name-calling?

Never heard a word from you.

Dude her observation is not far from the truth.
#1. The Silence is Deafening!
When I first arrived in the West, I was so taken aback by how quiet everywhere was. On the way out of the airport, I looked around in awe as the pristine clean roads were not littered with with hawkers, jampacked cars , numerous pedestrians and the blaring sounds of horns! - although, mega-cities like New York is an exception to the rule.

#2. Your Neighbours & The Police: You Can Co-exist with Neighbours for Years Without Ever Saying a Word to Each Other.
In the average neighbourhood, you can't make noise anyhow. Everyone minds their business. ... The most you will get out of your neighbors is an occasional nod and smile.
Although this doesn't deter them from watching your every move through their windows... they won't hesitate to call the cops/snitch on you at any slight opportunity. Make noise and fight with your spouse anyhow and you will find police knocking at your door.

#3 Raising kids in a Predominantly Black Neighbourhood Can Spell Doom.
Bullying is incessant in these communities. Gang culture, crime, violence  etc..

#4. Your Child(ren) can be Taken from You.
This almost happened to a close friend of mine whose nosy neighbour called  child services on her because she heard her baby crying for a lengthy period of time. And the police actually showed up to her house to carry out a thorough investigation on the living conditions of the baby.. Thank God nothing incriminating was found..
Moral of the story: be careful with how you care for/discipline your kids when living abroad.

#5. Nigerian Churches (most RCCG branches) are Epicenters for Drama & Toxicity.
Avoid! Just Avoid!

#6. Black (especially Nigerian women) are at the Bottom of the Food Chain; be it at the Workplace or on the Dating Scene.
Young black guys will rather date white or mixed race girls.. (may not be true for all) but my observation living in London.
...and at work, we have to work twice as hard to be respected and valued. The biggest oppressor of a black woman at work is a white woman (and in some cases, your fellow blacks).. but not a white man surprisingly.

#7. You will Happily Miss Home from Afar and be so Much More Invested in the Affairs of Nigeria than Those Living in Nigeria.

Need I say more? smiley

#8.You May Gain Weight.
Why??
Kebabs & Pizzas
Chicken and chips.
Cheap and irresistibly delicious chinese takeaways cheesy
Fish & chips
Burgers,
TGI Fridays & Nandos

Beautiful conditions

Thanks my brother.

We should stop running down Nigeria just because we think can run away abroad.

Those guys consciously built their societies. We can do same here

Make dem wake up one day say 'oya, una don too plenty for hia, begin return to us place':

King44:
Make I no lie.

As long as I am making enough legit money in Nigeria I have no problem living here, though the thought of living outside the country crosses my mind at times but abroad no freak me a bit.

I can't come and die of depression because there is no one to talk to or everywhere is silent I like making noise... I like saying hi to my neighbours, the sensible neighbours.

I like noise on a steady.

But if God can grant me one wish, that would be may God put anyone who doesn't want this country to move forward to complete and utmost shame, that is my only problem.

Abroad no freak me but it wouldn't be bad if I make money finish travel out for a vacation, that's highly needed.

I disagree with 6.

As a black woman, your greatest adversary is a fellow woman who is black or any other ethnicity except white. The white woman and white man is often your greatest ally.

Your number one foe is a black woman. Followed by any other non-white woman.

I don't encourage inter racial relationships. It leads one race breeding out the other.

It's her truth .
however another race is born. Examples: the coloreds in SA and zimbabwe, the mestizos in south america, the mulatto in jamaica the eurasians and blasians in american etc

Guess who made them so, we nigerian men

Anything our women are is just a shadow of we men.....

If our women are downgraded outside, who do u think feel d insult, is we nigerian men that shoulders the humiliation

Nigerian men are still one of d least sort after, too in the western world
thank you

Bros relax every woman get their issues not only nigerian women oo,
European women would patiently wait for you to Bleep up so she can sue you and take her husband property the laws protect them more so the men begs them for their mercy but yet the whitemen still put them untop and still sort after them,

Our women only have finical issues the behavioral issues are curtail by our own culture

I would rather be with a nigerian lady than any other lady in the world,

So leave that thing nigerian ladies are the best
No race is perfect

Does it mean that every time you will meet a black woman at work for the time, you will see a potential adversary. How disturbing your post is given that you may even started to treat them as such.

By the way, how many black women have you ever worked with? How many white women ? Are you familiar with the notion of subtle or blatant discrimination? Where are you located if I may ask you?

lol you are very brilliant. This is what I've been saying since forever. An average Nigerian is proud, arrogant and foolish. Come to my home town, people who don't drive cars are seen as human chaff. No one gives a shiiit about your intelligence or character. If you don't use the latest iPhone or drive around in a car (nobody cares whether you stole it or how you got it) you are treated like human waste . Tueeh on Nigeria.

Com'on bro I don't know where you live and I don't know what your experience is but I am afraid this may be in your head. Some people have low self esteem and they think other people underestimate them while this may not be true

No your message to me said simply

So don’t tell lies. Especially when I was talking about the different socio economic outcomes of middle class and upper class Nigerians who migrated to the UK I’m the 80s.

If your point is different races have a better mindset of cooperation, again you don’t know what you are talking about.

Take Jewish people, I know them well as I do business with them often. Once you climb the socio economic you start to meet the other players and I will give it to this group they’re very shrewd.

But they are not as united as you think. Sephardic Jews who come from Arabian regions don’t always get along with Ashkenazi Jews who hail from Europe. They often go to separate Synagogues which they call Shuls, this occurs even in New York!!! How do I know this, my Jewish associated kindly told me.

Next Indians, as well know mercantilist group. Light skinned Indians from the North west of India from cities like Mumbai don’t like darker skined Tamils from the Southbwho are heavily involved in IT in cities like Chennai and Bangalore. They don’t even like to see another of their number succeed if they are no gaining. So much for unity... I know this because I started out a programmer in Java before building trading platforms..

Chinese are similarly divided Cantonese speakers from Hong Kong don’t like Mandarin speaking mainlanders..

so get your facts straights few groups are as united as you think..

I get tired of this silly mindset of always talking down Nigerians. You may have a lot of self hate but I don’t. Nigerians especially the Yoruba and Igbo have a lot to offer this world and I have seen it first hand..

Thank you so much bro for this post.
I am Congolese and for ages I have been trying to convey this message to Nigerians on Nairaland.
Most Nigerians on here always think that the Indians community is doing better than Nigerians in term of unity.
I have told the Nigerians that as long as you aren't part of the Indian community, you will never what is going on in that community. Therefore, you can never say that the Indian community is more united than the Nigerian community.

Now, how do Congolese perceive the Nigerian community? Most of us think that the Nigerians are some of the most united people on the planet. The irony is that we perceive Nigerian unity the way Nigerians perceive the Indians or Chinese unity.

It is after joining Nairaland that I realized that the Nigerians aren't as united as other African think of them. This is where I come to the conclusion that it must be the same with every communities. We can judge the Indian or Chinese community from a distance but once we get to know them then we will realized that the grass isn't always that green
