I have seen it tho... However, there shouldn't be any cause for alarm as the prolonged shortlisting was basically a function of so many events that happened last year. Let's not forget that it also affected Testmi's virtual test as some point which made them postpone it until we eventually took it.

I remembered last year when someone came to my inbox and told me senate president or so was given 20 slot for NCDMB and he asked people from his state to look for people that applied to the job. I never believed because I felt 20 was too much for just one person.

But with the way people are talking about lobbying taking place, anything is possible.

Hopefully they keep a fair share say 40/50% for merit so we can fight for it.

The person may be right because the Senate President played a very big role in the ES reappointment. The ES was always going to his office incompany of the chairman Senate committee on local content, Senator Teslim Folarin, to lobby some weeks before his reappointment. So I'm sure the ES will compensate him very well but I think 20 is too much sha, although it depends on the number of people they want to recruit.

Yeah, Cut off mark is 50% confirmed but when the failure is high they reduces the cut off mark and pick based on performance. Just to avoid giving the job to a particular state or region.

This is not unexpected, the first step towards the actualisation of the recruitment exercise is to share slots to FCC no matter how balanced the list appear. At my current place of work, they collected 43 slots out of 251 before the issued a certificate of compliance.
