The Managing Director and Founder at Paelon Memorial Hospital vented her frustration on the COVID 19 situation in the country. Citing her experience in her hospital, she lamented the influx of Covid 19 patients in her hospital and the dilemma she finds herself in deciding who should get treatments first.

A post on her LinkedIn wall reads:

The Covid Tsunami

For Paelon Memorial Hospital, it is no longer a second wave, it is a tsunami.

My phones ringing of the hook, patients crowding in and around the tent (our holding bay for Covid 19 positive patients), making tough calls, who to take into the treatment centre, who to put on one of our 4 vents , ethical decisions I’ve never had to make in 38+ years.

Patients unable or unwilling to pay for treatment , yet requiring it.

It is a mess. I’m going round the bend, almost getting suicidal .

It is not letting at all.

It is therefore simply infuriating to see people wearing masks on their chins, crowding together with no respect for social distancing and carrying on, business as usual.

Covid is real and is like a tsunami this time.
We are the new Lombardy.
