the statement 'expect the unexpected ' is real. Anything can happen. yes. you can actually move from riches to poverty overnight. yes. and vice versa.

Hmm. it's an endless list.

1. Money is not equal to success. You can save up as much as you like. All you need to go back to ground zero is one "small" sickness. Instead, touch as many lives as possible with the little you have.

2. No one has the monopoly of good or evil. Sh*t will happen to us all. It's only a matter of time.

3. Treasure your loved ones. And show them too! Life is transient. You never know when it will end.

4. Find peace in every situation. Things could be better, OR WORSE! "THE GOOD LIFE" is only relative. At "TERRIBLE TIMES", you would wish things were "JUST BAD".

5. MY DAD WAS A GOOD MAN. I MISS HIM TERRIBLY!

Abeg make I stop here.

God is supreme, has always been supreme and will always be the SUPREME GOD.

with Him, the rich can get sick (covid-19) get best medical care and still die while the poor who has no access to good health care does not get sick and live.

LIFE IS IN THE HANDS OF GOD

That God wants the whole world to address HIM as God; the Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent. 2 Chronicles 7:13-14.

TheManofTomorrow:
As this year comes to an end tonight. A lot of appreciation to friends and loved ones, best wishes for the coming year are flying around. A lot are optimistic about the coming year.

It has been the best year for some yet the worse for many others.

I won't like to bore you all with happenings of this year. But one thing is for sure, we all agreed that this year had been one of a kind thanks to brother Corona and Chief ASUU especially.(for students angry)

We succeeded at some things, failed woefully at many others but above all we learnt and got more experience.

I learnt a lot of things and I'm sure we all did. Here are some of the core lessons 2020 succeeded in teaching me hardcore cheesy

1. Never to be afraid to taking risk especially when it comes to financial liberation.
So long a business/investment is in good standing, go for it(wisely) if you have the financial muscle. That might just give you the financial breakthrough you have been hoping for.

2. To always try to get out of my "comfort zone
No matter how comfortable your comfort zone might be, always strive to "be more" and uncomfortable. Trust me, that's the only way you can grow.

3. To build my network.
After all, in this age and time, your NETWORK determines your networth. No long talk about it. We all know where Nigeria tilting towards and how things are being run grin

4. To always stay informed
Omo, information is power, this year was the year I knew the worth of that popular saying. Information is sometimes what differentiate the Middle class from the rich. Information has a way of placing you one step ahead amongst your peer. Trust me.

5. Not to stay depressed for too long.
Depression is a state of mind we all have experienced on occasions in our life regardless of the reason(s). Always pick yourself up, dust your sneakers and get back on the track cool. Life continues and you can't get the most out of life by staying depressed.

Okay, Nairalanders, let's hear yours too, hopefully someone picks a lesson or two.
Thanks for sharing

It has taught me to control my anger, let things slide atimes, even when you are right
It has taught me to be appreciative of the little i have
It has taught me to be friendly and voice out when in need, your helper could be a step away
It has taught me to help those around me in need, no matter how little, it will come back multiple fold
It has taught me to be positive always, I started the year in a bad note but I'm grateful how it ended, 2020 was full of life lessons

Offpoint1:
Time is the most powerful thing in the universe.
Time is the greatest healer,
Time is the greatest giver,
Time gives life and takes life,
Time open ways and close ways,
Whatever you are today is because of time,
Whatever you'll be tomorrow time determines,
Faith is time,
Time gives joy,
Time gives sorrow,
Prayer is not answer, time is... You pray, time answers.
Doctor treats, time heals.
Time gives you all things and time takes all things.
Science is time
Success is time
Failure is time...
There has never been a year better than it previous, prepare for the worst and don't be taken by surprise.

MOST IMPORTANTLY.. Money is not success...
Permission to copy?
For me, I've learnt to carry my cross alone and bear the consequences of my actions and inactions whether good or bad.

what 2020 taught me is in this two Bible verse

Isaiah 60:22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you

2020 had taught that you should always appreciate your love ones and that life can be gone in a split of second. I lost my Grandmom of 98 years and I witnessed her body shutdown in a blink of an eye cry Also 2020 like 2019 taught me that I tend to get jobs late in the year. I landed my federal job in America in October after being rejected from so many private companies. Overall 2020 has been shaky .

2020 .... Has been a year like no other, a year where the only winner is China.... A year where communism, socialism, leftism, wokesm has defeat capitalism, open market, democracy, freedom of speech and expression, individualism.
This has been a year where the world health organization has failed the world by conniving with a communist china to infect the entire world with a deadly pandemic and also misinformed the entire of the dangers of this pandemic creating fear in the development of vaccine through the various media houses such as CNN BBC etc...... A year where media houses with WHO doubted the development of a vaccine within this year as dangerous and harmful and now that they have succeeded in their mission, they are now telling us to take this dangerous and harmful vaccine.
A year where china created the virus but everyone decided to blame it on Donald Trump.
A year where the only growing economy in the world is China.
A year where all the world leaders have decided to lock down their economy and feeding on their reserve.... Leaving only china to be the only growing economy and the only major lender.......... This inturn will have a devastating effect on the world as everyone will be dependent on china including Europe and America.
A year where America has failed the world by moving towards socialism and communism.( These are the two evil words that America in indeed free world has fought against throughout in history from world war 1&2 to Korea and Vietnam war to Iraq war, loosing thousand of Americans lives in order to restore democracy and freedom to other countries) and now china is collaborating with the democrat party to reintroduce socialism and communism back to America. In democrat states such as new York and California, there is an active law to enforce equal opportunity, equal outcome concept,..... That is why there is heavy tax on private businesses and rich individuals in order to render them poor at the expense of the state and large government..... As a result of this large industries are running away from silicon valley and new York to Republican run state like Texas or outside united States.......... Infact in my seminar presentation I clearly states that the death of silicon valley and new York City will coincide with china emerging as a global economy power House ahead of USA.
2020 is also a year of wokesm, elusional racism fight and hate speeches, returning our conscience back to 1920s with black lives matter, kneeling and fist pumping with hateful messages and anti police slogan.... A year of lawlessness.
A year of opposition by government to freedom of speech, peaceful assembly, freedom of thought and opinion.... A year that the world has forgo her freedom.

A year where my beautiful game of football has been destroy by wokesm, hypocritical taking of knee and pumping of fist, VAR, black lives matter and political messages, LBGT, Corona virus...... the focus is no more on football But on political messages...... Right now I am finding it hard to watch football.

A year where by globalism is considered ahead of a passionate patriotic nationalism...... Such that a leader like Trump who loves his nation and want good things for his country by bringing America job from china and giving it back to American people and improving the economy of America before Corona virus was booted out for Biden, a less loved leader, who doesn't care about American people but global political correctness.

A year of identity politics where common sense is becoming uncommon with destruction of properties and historical figures all in the name of fight racism

If this kind of year is repeated again, I swear, the identity of the world will change for ever.
