South of Nigeria was faster building modern cement buildings, than the north.

PMB assumed duty; quickly the price of Cement doubled by Dangote.
Quota system; south must wait for north to catch up with cement buildings.

It's not so bro.
Cement is sold from the plant @N2500, the hike in price is because other competitors are observing the Holidays and the demand for cement has increased geometrically so the middlemen are taking you guys to catch cruise.
As I'm typing a bag of Cement is 2500 here.

If it was sold at 1,500 the hike in price will be lower that what it is now

Why did Cement jump from N1400 to N2500 immediately after PMB assumed office as president?
PMB said there are some Forces controlling the price.

I bought 4500 in Kubwa, Abuja last week. Yesterday, I bought 3800. Though, most sell at 4000. When I started the building project 3 weeks ago, I bought at N3300 per bag but it jumped to 4500 within 1 week.

Instead of asking why the price of cement is so high in Nigeria
You people are asking what is the cost...what a wasted nation

Just because one man called Dangote is holding everybody by the neck
The price of cement is at the whims and caprices of the MONOPOLIST
increasing prices at his beck and call

But thank GOD that the GHANANIANS were wiser than we do
They refused such exploitation and the company folded up!

Let us bring back the price control board
Until this is done, everybody is in trouble ooo!

Highlighted.

The monopolist is practically on no part of Nigeria should develop faster than the other.

South must wait for north in private solid buildings.

Cement is not made with materials from another planet for the price of cement to nearly double immediately after PMB assumed office.

Cement is too expensive, mind you Limestone in Nigeria is in excess, likewise Labour
The only bad thing is road and power.
We really need to regionalise cause those 2 men are cashing out big time and blocking other reputable competitors
