But it actually depends on the average daily milage. Eg it will take about 13years for a typical daily milage of 40miles.
Of course, it will take much longer if you rarely drive the car.

Now if you live in Ibadan and work in Lagos, it will be 1220 return trips.
if you go to work everyday of the week Monday to Sunday, it will take you 3yrs 4 months to cover that mileage
If Monday to Friday, it will be 4 yrs 9 months of daily usage
If you were driving daily wthin Lagos, you won't reach that mileage in 20 years! because lagos is very small, with terrible traffic

The unfortunate reason most people pay a lot for Toyota reliability is if you drive in Lagos for 4 years will take less than 4 months in the US AVG. 1000miles /month.
