Not "gathering of the brethren"; the bible says, "... Gathering of the saints". If your church is a gathering of those that hate God, back biters, thieves, fornicators, liars, greedy people etc. He has no business singing or praying with them. Their singing and prayers are an abomination to God.

thats how I went to a friend's church, believe it or not d pastor was just praising him selves, his wealth his lands and money he has held, till service ends talking bout how e doesn't give people money dey have to make their own and am wondering wtf is this one.

David never hated men of God, he even refused to kill Saul because Saul was anointed by God, you have to respect men of God na love them because it is God who called them and anointed them for his works, you can't say you love God when you have no love for your brethren. Love is the ultimate.
