There are no shortcuts to the top of the palm tree, you must surely climb up the tree to get to the top-African Proverb
Welcome to the year 2021, our year of divine reward.
This year I would try as much as possible to do justice in my write-ups by bridging the gap between the Soro-Soke generation and the Old Skol generation.
The Soro-Soke generation doesn’t know a single thing on how politics is played but they want instant change in the polity, while the Old Skol plays by the simple political rule of the more the merrier.(politics is a game of number).
It is evident that the 2023 presidential elections would dominate the field of discussion from this day till the final whistle is blown and a winner declared in 2023.
INEC has since announced the 2023 presidential timetable and all STUDENTS are currently undergoing intensive tutorials to enable them to come out with flying colors.
Today the battle is about zoning, every geopolitical zone is badly scheming for power.
The essence of power rotation is simply to offer the best available product by each region. If leaders had been fair in their dealings with the people the agitation for zoning won’t arise in the first place.
Once anyone in power carries out his constitutional duties and functions of governance fairly, people won’t complain. Zoning has its advantages and drawbacks.
The main battle now is between the South and the North over power rotation, the North has had its fair share of 8 years and it is only morally right for the South to produce the next president.
But you see power must be fought for, it can not be offered on a platter of gold because of morality or sentiment, you must step out of your comfort zone to demand your right.
Today the South-West is not resting on its oars to see it clinches the presidency in 2023.
Heavy politicking and realignment are currently ongoing with the sole purpose of approaching the 2023 presidency with one house.
One likely choice that may emerge as the South-West candidate is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu the Jagaban of Borgu.
Ordinarily, the 2023 presidency is not supposed to generate such uproar but the problem we have is Buhari’s popularity.
You see Buhari’s popularity is beyond human comprehension, the man is a god with a small g.
His people love him so much, all Buhari needed to win the presidency in 2015 was a workable collaboration with the South-West.
It is no longer a secret that the South-West entered into an agreement with the North over Buhari’s presidency with an understanding that power would return back to the South.
For the Soro-Soke generation if you accept that there was an agreement then who were the actors that entered into the gentlemanly agreement?
LOL am sure they think it's Davido,Seun Kuti , 9nice, and Whizkid that stood as guarantors for the South-West.
Every single South-West product today that is a beneficiary in APC’s government is a product of Tinubu’s School Of Continuous Education.
These Soro-Soke generations that are so lazy to even scroll up and study political permutations are funny people.
They think when the APC holds its zoning caucus meetings it would be their slay QUEENS and CLUB induced youths that would be in attendance and decide which zone the presidency would go.
Funny enough this is what inspired today’s article, “On Your Mandate, We Stand”
"(singing) On your mandate we shall stand, on your mandate we shall stand …on your mandate."
Take a look back at that Tinubu’s video years back and you would understand the meaning of on your mandate we stand.
The South-West is not joking in its bid to reclaim the presidency and they are pretty united on this to bring forth their best MATERIAL for the job.
As long as APC remains the dominant party today then you can never wish Tinubu away.
First of all in terms of capability, human capacity building, and political savviness, Tinubu towers above all.
You see when Obasanjo was trying to create an enclave for himself by destroying the opposition leaders in South-West little did he know he was building a political MONSTER in Tinubu.
Tinubu met Lagos IGR at about N600m per month and he left it at N12 – 14bn per month.
When Obasanjo seized Lagos allocations despite Supreme Court judgment against Obasanjo, Tinubu was paying salaries and pensions regularly for three and a half years that it lasted.
Can your favorite Governor you worship like an idol be able to pay workers salaries if his state does not receive Federal allocation for the next 6 months?
Governors that when they manage to pay workers their wages would come to Facebook and celebrate it?
Common bro only an Economic WIZARD can achieve such a feat.
There are no shortcuts to the top of the palm tree, Tinubu has paid his dues.
How many of you can even remember your governors between 1999-2007?
Imagine if Ibori had invested in Delta,Bafarawa invested in Sokoto, Atiku in Adamawa, David Mark in Benue, Odili in Rivers, Makarfi in Kaduna, Saraki in Ilorin, etc the way Tinubu invested in Lagos, unemployment by now would have been history in Nigeria.
“The elephant does not limp when walking on thorns.”, Tinubu remains unscathed and seems to be the best man for the job.
Give and take Tinubu remains the first choice for the South-West.

Who is deceiving all these ones.

After 2023 Tinubu will be so humbled because he won't get what he wants and he will be a big disgrace to him.

He is too desperate for power
This was how the clueless one in charge now was so desperate for power, now he got the power he doesn't know what to do with it.

Tinubu ko le di Are Ori le ede Naijiriya bo Fe bo ko.

He should respect himself and be the kingmaker that we know him to be.

Tinubu is not the first choice of the SW stop deceiving yourselves.

Abo oro la n so fun Omoluabi

I keep telling people, any Yoruba samurai that fails to support Tinubu's presidential ambition is not Wise. me personally have studied the man to know that forgetting sentiment, the man brings the best hands to work. What can you offer and what is ur intellectual CV like is the man's system of rule that has favoured Lagos n Lagosians even Nigerians in some ways. Fashola, Ambode and even this so called VP Nigerians keep singing his Hallelujah

The only reason I'll support Atiku presidency if he happens to run under PDP is if he picks a South westerner as his running mate. but say he picks Obi or any Ipobian? he'll loose many votes here in the North
