Former Presidential candidate, Dele Momodu has got the attention of internet users with what he said after picture of Sowore in a handcuff surfaced online. Recall that Sowore was allegedly arrested on the first of January 2021.

Sharing his tweet which has sparked reactions online, Dele Momodu stated that it's unfair how Sowore is in a handcuff without being a terrorist. He alleged that some person's who are certified bandits are over-pampered and walking freely in the country.

Dele Momodu revealed that some bandits were even absorbed into the security system, adding that "this too shall pass".

Dele Momodu tweet, has done nothing but put words in the mouth of people who came across his post. Those who commented alleged that Sowore is paying for his sins. They said that Sowore platform was what the repressive government used to sail to victory in 2015 and they hope this will serve as a lesson for those that are yet to make the mistakes he made.

Other stated that Dele Momodu is widely travelled to have made such tweet. They disclosed that bringing an accused person with a handcuff (no matter the offence) is a standard procedure during transportation. They added that the only issues is the mode of transportation provided for Sowore is backward, and the truck belongs to 1980s.
