Dedetwo:

Northern region of Nigeria had story massive movement of people especially the Fulani and Hausa. It is not uncommon to see Fulani in Sokoto and Adamawa. However such is not the case in eastern region or even southern Nigeria. The Igbo people currently in Benue were not part of northern region of in 1967. They were caved out of Anambra State during 1976 boundary adjustment. The three or four LGAs native to Igbo in Benue State does not bar Ndigbo from being indigenous Igbo.
Forget few Fulani living in the bush but how are Hausa among those that wander in the bush? There are many Hausa states in the North. Some Hausa tribes in Jigawa are made part of Yobe, Some Mangawa/Karekare tribes from Yobe are made part of Jigawa. Fulani & Hausa communities are forced to be part of Kano from Jigawa or from Jigawa to Kano, the same with Katsina and Kano and similarly with Zamfara and Katsina and many numerous Northern states and we didn't feel bad.
That's why a commend Hausa-Fulani and Yoruba for not complaining after leaving their brethren in Niger Republic, Chad, Cameroun and Togo, Benin respectively after demarcating of boarder by whites despite sharing the same culture and traditions.
