The Sriwijaya Air SJ 182 commercial aircraft on the Jakarta-Pontianak route reportedly lost contact on Saturday (9/1).
PT Angkasa Pura II Manager of Branch Communication Haerul Anwar confirmed that the Sriwijaya Air SJ 182 aircraft had lost contact.

"Confirmation of lost contact. The incident was around 14 o'clock and is currently still under investigation," he said when confirmed.

Quoted from flightradar24, the Sriwijaya Air plane for the Jakarta-Pontianak route departed from Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten at 14.36 WIB.

While the estimated arrival is scheduled for 15.15 WIB.

Lost contact just like that without any emergency call,then the plane must have suffered a catastrophic loss of cabin pressure before breaking up far above the sky...Could be an Explosion and we dear say...If it lost contact over water then there's hope but overland there is gonna be a crash site strewn with burning wreckage and dismembered body parts...
