This is a Sound medical practitioner diagnosed And confirmed in the USA. How More "sure" can one get?

you only said diagnosed n confirmed in the USA but the op did not state where he died exactly ,either here in Nigeria or the USA.

bro, if its in the U.S. then I can believe a bit but if he died in naija, then it's not by covid 19...perhaps other ailments but not this one the Nigerian govt is saying!

You are one of the very very few that still have sense in Nigeria! No single Nigerian has ever died of Coro, but their greedy Health authority have taken the million $ bribe from the makers of Coro propaganda to brainwash senseless gullible Nigerians. And they are so much succeeding because Nigerians hate their lives, they love suffering more than joy, they love enslavement more than Freedom! Look at how so many senseless folks here are begging to be locked down and caged in their houses like brainless animals that they truly are! Even animals would not beg to be killed by the same people that have publicly vowed that they want to reduce their population. Only brain-dead Nigerians that are less than animals in thinking are waiting and begging for Vaccines from their enemies that want them stone-cold dead.

You and all those that like your comments are block heads

He died of advanced malaria and typhoid. There's no such thing as Corona virus here in Nigeria. Our government just claimed it's here so that they can have their own share if the money world Bank end Europe union was sharing to poor African countries.

May his soul rest in peace.
Pls don't joke. You do not know what families are going through right now. All hospitals are full to capacity. Pls..

For the information of those ignorant ones among us, the figures quoted by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control is far less than what is going on ground. I have insiders at IDH in Lagos and the deaths reported there in one day is higher than the one reported throughout the country on same day. And majority of those dying are elites and high society people. They have over 280 patients of COVID on admission. Yet the stupidly ignorant people are talking gibberish here that government is just spewing fake figures. Yes! The figures might incorrect for many reasons. Poor information gathering due to poor health system already existing in Nigeria is one reason. The second reason is corruption. But the actual figures are far higher than what the government is stating on daily basis. If you love your life observe social distancing, wear your mask, wash your hands and stay safe. A word is enough for the wise.

I sense you don't even know how lame you sound right now... grin

This format won't work sir... Go do something meaningful. You are preaching to the choir!!!

And why did he even travel to Nigeria? He should have waited just couple more weeks to get vaccinated before traveling. He's in part the reason why he died. RIP

Exactly lockdown is not the magic bullet.

Ban international flights from Europe and US for the time being. Nigerians were coping well with the old strain. We don't need to grapple with a new strain now. It can be avoided or at least limited.

Well... It is already too late for that!!! If there is a new strain in Europe, it must have come in and started spreading since early December. Closure of flight entries should have been done before December tbh.

You see why this constant pushing for lockdown by your people on this forum really irks me...

They want the millions of poor people to suffer for the carelessness and pleasure of the few wealthy and privileged... This is the perfect basis for anarchy and civil unrest, which is exactly what another lockdown portends!

Today, we lost 3 members of my medical constituency in Lagos. 4th one is a pathologist and son to one of the late three. He is in d ICU presently....

Lagos is in trouble now. The spike in cases is overwhelming the system. The B blocks closed in LUTH after first wage has been reopened and is full.
Govt is no more sponsoring treatments. It is you and your family. Oxygen is in short supply. Provision of oxygen to the patients is critical to staying alive. *Yesterday all non emergencies in LUTH has been suspended and all resources are geared to covid19 care*
Admission deposit LUTH=100k
Reddington =10million
Paelon=5million
Other places 2million-4million
Cost of treatment 300k/ day.
Lagos State Hospitals+IDH deposit ? Free but your family will buy everything. Oxygen is being pushed to the black market. To refill your cylinder at the plani 20k/ cylinder.
Black market 50 to 100k depending on availability and desperation. Patient require 8 to 16 cylinders/day. So multiply 20k to 50k times 8 to 16 cylinders/day ie approx 200 to 500k/ day.
Why to maintain oxygenation in inflammed lungs you require 6litres oxygen per minute.
This does not include Remdesivir, ivermectin etc.
Source of funding is family and friends. My friend admitted to IDH says you run out of funds you perish.
So wearing face mask + shield + distancing + hand hygiene is discomfiting.
However, contracting the virus is not only more physically discomfiting. It could bankrupt you and your family and your enemies are unlucky they die.
The key is to educate your wife and children. They are the weak link. Train them to create a family bubble.

#copied

This is the sort of thing that should get people arrested in developed countries...

What do you people hope to achieve with this nonsense you all started since early last year?!! Wide spread panic and chaos?!!

You should be very careful of the nonsense you copy and paste online...

Mynd44, Seun... This is unacceptable!!!

Lockdown definitely is an invitation to another social unrest and anarchy. Hopefully we will develop herd immunity to this strain as well in the coming weeks.

Well, for the average struggling and hustling Nigerian, the immunity has always been there.

The best bet now is to aggressively inform them to be more cautious.

We will ride this one out without much stress!!!

Every death is now covid-19.
I go out every day even stayed in the midst of crowd right from the beginning of this pandanmic in Nigeria and had not for once feel somehow in body.
Mind you, I never said covid-19 is not real but the hype doesn't worth it in Nigeria and Africa at large.

you're a complete fool if you believe it exists in other countries but not in Nigeria, as long as coronavirus is declared a pandemic by W H O and highly contagious, you can contract it anywhere in the world, be sensible and stop misleading gullible Nigerians.

Google dictionary defines party as "a social gathering of invited guests, typically involving eating, drinking, and entertainment." Tell me how this differs from a typical Nigerian funeral?
