How a single Christian can find a perfect partner

1. Stop living in a fantasy. You can’t find a virtuous woman (Prov 31:10 kjv), it’s not a reality. Get outside that fantasy. Pay the price, which means to sacrifice some things in the woman (e.g. finance, appearance etc.). You’ve to lower your standards. People will never show you their defects at the beginning. They will try to fool you. How will you stick to that person when the fantasy is gone? Even Solomon had a thousand women, he didn’t hit one. But (Eccl 2:10-11 kjv) showed that the women did not bring Solomon joy either.

2. Reality. You’re not a princess in a story that will get some kind of Prince Charming at the end. The fact is that there will be people who wants you for either your money, or your looks, or how your dress, etc. You’ve to be the person that another will find attracted to. There is no excuse that nobody likes you. There got to be somebody. You’re just not using the means to become that person that somebody out there wants. Use the means that God has given you and work with it. No need for a plastic surgery. Be smooth and natural. God is in control (Phil 4:13 kjv). Do not be afraid of losing the person. Be humorous. Don’t be weird. Be wise.

3. Pray (John 16:24 kjv). Ask God for a godly woman or a godly man, not a Christian woman or man. They are not the same. Have faith. Even if you plan on getting married in 10 years time, start now to pray about it.

4. Take the initiative. Don’t expect God to drop the perfect partner from Heaven. Be the person and take the initiative. Don’t worry about your appearance, just be smooth. Be wise. Don’t be discouraged (Josh 1:9 kjv). Be confident in the Lord. If you want to find a Bible believer, then you’ve to go to a Bible believing church. Even if the person is not like you, help the person grow, and then you can tie the knots.

5. You need an approval from God and the church. If you find someone, seek approval from God and the church. There’s a spiritual reason behind this. God and the church will never let you down.
