Wait, so Tinubu truly is secretly planning to be president? When will this man realised he had already mortgaged his integrity by his penchant for corruption? Can he just endorse someone credible?. We mustn't allow him succeed |

cktheluckyman: A Yoruba man defeated Bashir Tofa, a Kano state indigene, in Kano, during the 1993 Presidential elections. Another Yoruba man, Olu Falae, defeated 'Kaduna Mafia' preferred candidate, during the 1999 Presidential elections in Sokoto state. When it comes to Nigerian politics, SW politicians have a way of playing their games with Northern Nigeria political establishments. 2 Likes |

Bodexman: My friend shut up. Always bringing tribalism into everything. There is no Yoruba candidate, by 2023 different people will come out to contest and some of them will be of Yoruba extraction. Only one person does not control the Yoruba vote and finally yorubas don't vote based on tribalism so go Bleep urself with your ethnic bullshit 3 Likes |

OritoJasi: The true enemies of Nigeria are those who witnessed in 1999 how two Yorubas were placed on the tickets of the two largest political parties for a Yoruba to emerge president via zoning, yet now that it’s the turn of Igbo presidency, they gather in support for Tinubu for president after PMB.

Re: 2023: Southwest Speakers Meet In Ibadan For Tinubu by OritoJasi: 11:32pm On Jan 14, 2021 |
Nchenches: Akuko. That argument of yours should be made to the PDP; the party that is likely to give its ticket to yet another Northerner (Atiku), in spite of ibo loyalty to it since 1999. As for the APC, Yorubas are not afraid to compete with other Southerners for the ticket, even though they have enough basis to lay a legitimate claim to it, due to their role in bringing APC to power in Nigeria. Why are ibos begging to be gifted the APC ticket on a platter instead of slugging it out with Yorubas and their fellow Southerners/Nigerians? Alex Ekwueme contested the PDP primaries against OBJ. Nobody prevented that from happening, and he lost fair and square to Obasanjo. Ibos take pride in being competitive, so why then are they acting scared shytless at the prospects of facing Yorubas in the primaries? Better come to terms with the fact that nobody will give ibos the Presidency on a platter. It ain't happening dude. 1 Like |

OritoJasi:Long story. Truth is that nearly 90% of Yoruba people were in AD party, not in PDP or ANPP in 1998 when Nigeria placed two Yorubas on the ticket of PDP and ANPP so that one Yoruba would become president through zoning of presidency to the SW. That’s after Alex Ekwueme with his G33 convinced Arewa to relinquish power to civilians. Those asking for Yoruba to succeed PMB are inadvertently playing for NADECO II after 2023 May 29. |

After South West massively voted Buhari in 2015 and 2019, some of us stop seeing them as politically smart people It is only the East and South South that could see beyond the facade in 2015 and rejected a man who failed in 1984 as a young man, brought as a saviour in 2015 (29 years later). So am not surprised South West that ought to know better but decided to team up with Northern Almajiris to choose a Buhari for Nigeria now want to replace vegetable Buhari with vegetable Tinubu. Who did this to Nigeria? 3 Likes |

Promote your candidate and stop fooling around by speaking for 250m Nigerians. That's why most of you don't know this game. You quantify online war, talk, wailling etc to real life game... Popular web politicians would have 1m vote online but in real life has only 3 votes... Lafff. My man, Level up. If you are not a politician you can't explain how this ecosystem works.. This thread extremely saddening if not outrightly depressing. It's so unfortunate that when Nigerians discuss politics and who they'll cast their votes for, the only thing you hear is tribe. When the younger generation isn't any different than the older ones, can one really say there's light at the end of the tunnel? 2 Likes |
