Opoooooooor!!

We really need to shut the country down, this is not a drill, Corona virus is real and it's spreading even more than the first wave.

Federal government should impose a month lock down and increase test to the help curb the virus before it go out of hands..Okay ooo

Though Scarry, we can't afford to lockdown the country the second time. Quick and effective non-pharmaceutical measures need to be adhered to.

Una still dey learn. The United States had 4300+ deaths on Tuesday alone. All Naija covid-19 deaths since February no even reach a third of that number, yet US people dey wash hands and do social distancing well well.

NCDC, if you guys want us to take covid serious, increase the number of deaths to 1k daily, we go take una serious but in doing so, people must see evidence around of that number oh.

Covid-19 dey but it isn't a problem to us here. Somehow somehow, the thing no dey wound us for here. We can live with it.

Folks, pls and pls and pls, take this thing seriously and don't see it as "Livescore". (Especially for those of us in Lagos)

Covid-19 is real and it's among us.

I am a survivor.

+ Socially Distance
+ Wash your hands
+ If you can, avoid public transport and places (very difficult though)
+ Use your nose mask and do so properly.

It's well ...

*Modified*

Trust me, no one can pay me to say i am/was sick with covid. I v got a conscience!! Anybody can disbelieve the existence of Covid at their own peril. A word is enough for the ...

There you have it:

I have never doubted the existence of Covid and even believe we have more cases in Nigeria than what the authorities display ("LiveScore" as some of you would say)

Post March, i took necessary precautions to prevent myself against the virus however, after lockdown, i resumed shaking hands, no social distancing and contact sport (Football).

Boom! December 20th after my positive result I took life more seriously.

Symptoms (I have had my share bouts of Malaria in life being AA and 0+, but I've never felt this sick in my life. No one can tell me i had malaria!!):

+ Intense Body weakness

+ Cough

+ Headache

+ Body/Joint pains (i'm told due to blood clotting)

+ Scariest of all (at least for me): I could not taste or smell for 6days! This has never happened in my entire life; no matter the kind of flu I've had. Do you know that feeling when you have your toothbrush in your mouth and cant even taste the minty paste? I guess you won't know! Eating Christmas rice and pepper soup, I couldn't taste Sh***t! I was only eating to avoid starvation and not to savour the taste

I couldn't smell anything as well. My bathing soap, perfume (which is very strong), food, my car airfreshner (which is very strong as well).

+ No shortness of breathe as some patients have said identified though. I always watched out for this because this is usually a red flag for crises.

I googled and researched alot. I used ginger and Garlic for everything going into me this period which i believe was what helped me. Vitamin C and B as well.

My luck is that I stay alone and have worked from home since June so my self isolation and keeping away from others were very easy.

December 31st was the very 1st time i tasted anything. Ketchup and fish! I was excited as if I had received a kind of miracleous healing. Smell returned gradually and I got better and stronger.

As at today, I haven't had any symptoms and believe I'm healed. I cannot do a test to be very sure I'm healed now (its almost 50k and I'm still recovering from heavy rent and december spending). I'm still staying away from ppl though.

I Believe i contacted if drom a church i attended at Acme road. During mid December, they had a Carol where everyone mixed and danced. I was told 90% or choir members that were tested were positive (i interacted with them). Till now, all the choir members have been told to stay home and not come to church.

Who has ears should hear! Especially those of you with underlying illnesses. Thank God I'm a pretty healthy fella as i do lots of Footballing at weekends.

I stop my loooooooooong narrative here!
