why is it that people selling iPhones never post the ram of the iphone when selling . they only post the storage size.

because any RAM they give you is more than enough, the iPhone X of 2017 will multi task better than a 6GB ram 2021 Android phone.

IPhone 11 will still beat most Android phones of 2020. Infact, it will go head to head with flagship Android phones in some department like performance and Camera.

A 6GB 2021 Android phone does not use the SD 888. I've not seen a flagship Android phone use 6GB RAM in recent times, so when I say a "2021/6GB RAM Android phone" I'm talking of the 2021 midrange phones.

Stop arguing with them..the multitasking on iPhone is something else..multiple apps running at the same time and when you go back the apps don’t reload unlike androids

this is what people are comparing oh. Bear in mind that iOS apps are heavily optimized for iPhones.

it also depends on the type of ram that the android is using. iPhones multitask with the Chipsets and also ram(little) while Android uses ram often..
However, in terms of speed, we have rams like emmc, ufs 2.1, ufs 2.2, ufs 3.0 and ufs 3.1... iPhones ram speed can't bit 3.0 and 3.1

eMMC 5.1, UFS 3.1... E.t.c. is not a variant of RAM rather, a type of ROM, the variants of RAM are; LPDDR4X, LPDDR5 e.t.c with LPDDR5 being the Fastest currently, but you should know that iPhones do not use LPDDR5 because they have custom made RAM which will match, if not beat the LPDDR5.


And... iPhones do not use chipset in multitasking, no phone does, just that their chipset makes their RAM more efficient
