The winner of the just concluded local government election in Bebeji Local Government Area of Kano State which held on Saturday, Ali Namadi, has been reported dead. The news of his death was confirmed by his campaign’s public relations officer, Ibrahim Tiga. Namadi was said to have died in the early hours of Tuesday, around 1:00 am, just two days after the state’s electoral commission confirmed his victory. The cause of his death is not yet known.
