Why should someone be sentenced to 3 years in jail for driving against the traffic?
It's about being imaginative and ingenious - skills which most of our leaders lack. Have you ever been a regular driver in a city like Lagos
having to navigate nightmare bottlenecks across areas like Ikeja, Surulere and V.I? Even the most responsible and law abiding citizens have no other alternative than to drive against traffic in many instances as that could be the difference between reaching home after work, or sleeping in the traffic and becoming a sitting duck for armed robbers.

Your opinion about what they should do or not do is irrelevant, the law is there for you to obey and avoid what ever punishment they have on the books.

Some are just too unruly, lawless and disorderly and we come up with all absurd and ridiculous excuses to disobey the law.

Go and educate yourself properly and stop taking rubbish. Nobody is going to sell your car for not using a seatbelt. Offenses varies and penalties varies. If you drive against traffic, your car would be impounded and sold off. In other countries, such cars are completely crushed.
