If really she was born in Gambela, Ethiopia in '93, then her parents were most likely South Sudanese refugees who had fled the Second Sudanese Civil war(1982-2005).

In other words, it is highly possible that she was born in one of the refugee camps in Gambela just like a lot of other South Sudanese kids of that era. Some South Sudanese still live in that camp till this very day.
