Emulate Akeredolu Before Fulani Herders Take Over Your Land — Borno Cleric Advises Southern Governors

The Director General, Centre for Justice and Ethnicity in Nigeria, Pastor Kallamu Musa Ali Dikwa, has urged governors of southern states to emulate a recent move by their Ondo counterpart, Rotimi Akeredolu, to prevent Fulani herders taking over their land

Akeredolu had earlier banned night grazing and given an ultimatum to herders in the state to vacate forest reserves.

Speaking in an interview with SaharaReporters, the Borno cleric described Akeredolu's action as a step in the right direction.

He, however, urged governors from the South-East, South-West and South-South to follow suit.

He said, "The southern governors had better take charge of their lands and send the Fulani people back to the North. Must they stay in the South? I am speaking from experience because I am from Borno State and these people took all our land. They sent our fathers and mothers away from the farms. Our people are in internally displaced persons’ camps; they cannot stay in the villages for fear of being killed.

"Any Fulani you see in Borno is a settler, we accommodated them and see what we got. The target is Southern Nigeria and it is better the people speak up now, so that Fulani will not take over the land."

He also alleged that the Fulani people causing trouble in the country are from neighbouring countries with a mission to take over the economy.

According to him, the majority of the bureau de change operators in Abuja hardly speak Hausa language as they either come from Mali or Niger Republic.

He added, "In Abuja here, the bureau de change operators cannot even speak Hausa, they are not Nigerians but Nigeriens. They have come to take over the economy and once they do that, they will start controlling us."

He revealed that a northern Christian cleric who was kidnapped and later freed was told by his captors that they planned to kill all the Christians in the North and thereafter storm Southern Nigeria.

He said: "That pastor will not tell you this, they are being diplomatic with this kind of information instead of speaking out so everybody will know. The problem of insecurity has come to stay, but we need to speak out so the narrative can change. We can't keep folding our arms while our people are being killed.

"Two of the kidnappers who kidnapped the pastor here in the North are actually based in Benin City, Edo State; they are already in the South. The onus is on the governors to take charge. Federal government will not help anyone."

True words.

The remaining SW states should emulate Akeredolu ASAP.

We are not saying all Fulanis should leave our cities, but all Fulanis should leave the forest reserve because it has been established that those killer herdsmen are carrying out their inhuman acts from those area and using other Fulani herdsmen as their nest for hide games.

I don’t know for the rest of the South, their governors can do what they deem fit for their people.

I wonder who gave Fulanis the effrontery to call themselves Hausa - Fulani. There's one one in the North and that's Hausa, Fulanis are not part of us

In other words I got to agree to this cleric, be weary n worried if you sense the growth of Fulanis in ur vicinity

guerrila warfare is what these fulani herdsmen are using against nigeria.
what they do is eat ur rears bit by bit.

they are entering south west now other southern parts should strengthen their rears.

now is a good time to be part of a security network to learn combat.

if u dont train to secure ur rears u will be eaten like an apple

or on that day we shall cry out my lord my lord pls save us from the hand of the fulanis

Nothing is wrong in Fulani but everything is wrong with grabbing somebody's land with force. That is why everything becomes wrong with such mind set.

Same format! The same way Dan Fodio took over the North. They bring their flocks peacefully, they survey your land and every corner of the bush and they take over and kill everyone. Then everything around become theirs, and those who do not bow to their kingship through religion will be killed. They then install their kingship... That is how Ilorin, Gobir, etc was conquered.
This excerpt was from a book written in the 1800s. Those who do not learn from history are bound to repeat it.

Are you really sure that Buhari is the person at Aso rock and not one impostor from Niger republic? Why build a train route from Nigeria to Niger republic? Why is Aisha that love being close to her husband absent for so long? Why build a refinery in Niger republic? Why the influx of Nigerien Fulani into south west? Please people that knows the truth should come out with it to save this country from imminent civil war.

I hope Southern Leaders have ears to hear and strong balls to act.

This is the time for the SW, SE & SS Leaders to put away their differences and combine strengths so as to push out from our lands, the catastrophic fulanis.

The ones who knows the truth are either too greedy or lack the courage to tell the truth to Nigerians.

We no longer need anyone to tell us what the truth is, cos the actions and inactions of the vegetable in Aso Rock tells that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu have been right from the onset.

Look at the bold. You see, this is your problem in south.

How is the city fulani different from forest fulani? Sack all and get your land back.

Then introduce a readmission for those who want to come back...on your terms!

It’s not good to criminalize all the tribe as a whole.

Dangote is a Fulani in the city, should we also evict him?

There are also Yorubas in the North just like there are sensible Hausas and Fulanis in the SW living peacefully in the city and respecting their hosts.

We have Hausa/Fulanis in Sabo across the SW doing their business peacefully and I don’t think we should make it seems like it’s a coordinated attack against the Fulanis in general.

The Fulani herdsmen in the bushes should just evacuate the SW forest reserve. That is what we are telling them and I am sure the SW governors will speak in unison soon and the Fulanis will get the memo by fire by force.

Fulanis have the right to live in our lands, enter out houses and sleep with our women. Allah made it so..

Dangote has owned your entire country economy. Dangote and that Rabiu now control flour, sugar, salt , cement. If a competition rise up they use govt influence to kill it. Importation was a competition, didnt you see what they did to border?

You think fuel for your car is expensive now, wait till dangote refinery go into production. If generator no drink fuel and if no car no drink fuel dangote refinery no go make profit. So electric car and elecricity for home na dream, it will never happen in nigeria of next 25yrs or longer.

What makes you think dangote is better than forest fulani? Where are all dangote industries, are they not all in yorubaland? When have you heard him speak up for yoruba in all this insecurity on your soil?

Oga, you are slowly making me angry fa. Dont reply this post.

leave them..they don't know that both the town and bush fulanis are complicit in these matter..who do they think use to ferry arms and supplies to the bush fulanis in helicopters if not the town fulanis....Its all a game and agenda they have and they are following it meticulously...I just sorry for the south people who think they are educated and speaking grammar would help them...if you ever lived in the north during the religion/ethnic crises you would know who dangote is...some of us know things...!!

Adanne, it is nothing but just the ongoing Islamization or Fulanization agenda. Remember OBJ, Obadiah Mailafia, Pa Ayo Adebanjo etc have all warned about the same issue but the Fulani-controlled FG, MURIC and zombies denied it while some deluded Nigerians said they were just alarmists. Now, guess reality is more clearer? Good morning dear.
