Crime in a layman's definition is a corrupt way of getting the desired things. It ranges from lying, adulteration, forgery, stealing by trick or violence and all others. Like I pointed out, this definition may not be suitable in a law court, and that is not the purpose either.
Reading through the dailies or hearing news over the air, there are some criminal activities that are more prevalent in one section or the other may be based on backgrounds, upbringing, social appreciation and other factors.
Though, crime is no native of any tribe, but in Nigeria, certain crimes are mentioned, you could almost guess which side it is coming from. Few of crime/tribe profile are listed below:
Yoruba are more into skull mining, money rituals and yahoo, yahoo, Oluwole forgeries. Igbo are more into drug designs, adulteration, and dishonest in business dealings surrogate mothering otherwise known as baby factory business. Hausa, are more into religious violence and barbaric jungle justice. Fulani's are more info wanton killings, kidnapping, banditry. The Edo's in prostitution and human trafficking. The other day I was reading in a blog that Nigeria ranked second behind Jamaica in paternity fraud. Whichever tribe does that more is not ascertained yet.
Honestly free free to add your own observation, no names calling,. My own tribe is one of those mentioned above.
