So I was thinking, what would Jesus have done if he was the pastor?

I think Jesus would have listened to him and say "My son, I was actually here waiting for you. I got worried because time was ticking. You came here because you heard me when I called. I know my sheep and they hear me when I call. Then Jesus would pray for him, preach the good news, baptize him and say to him "Son, your sins are forgiven, go and sin no more. Get some nice clothes, have a nice hair cut and follow my ways".

We are Christians because we are followers of Jesus Christ. It means Christ-like people. Christianity means, people who live like Christ. The ministry of reconciliation has been handed over to us by our Lord Jesus Christ, to reconcile people like the young man and every other person who’s unsaved, no matter how they might have sinned. Let us not get too familiar with grace and forget we were actually forgiven because of His grace and not by our personal righteousness.

The emphasis on the Parable of the prodigal son is not that he was prodigal, but because despite his sins, he still had the courage to come to his Father and ask for forgiveness.
So I think the Pastor in this article is just a Pastor by title, he does not have Christ in him. Let us live like Christ because that's holiness.

He was not prepared to change his appearance to be accepted by God nor a Church, but demanded that they accept him as he wanted to be.

Fools succumb to SYMPATHY (0.9 on the HUBBARD TONE SCALE,) and forget about what this man did with his life, that, when the illusions were stripped away, he saw that it was not worth living.

How many gullible Virgins had he jilted?

How many girls died aborting his illegitimate babies?

How many fellow gangsters did he pummel, knife, or shoot to death?

How many shopkeepers did he rob- leaving them traumatized, injured, or dead?

AFTER HAVING DONE ANY OR ALL OF THESE- AT THE VERY LEAST DRESSED AS THE PEOPLE WHO DO THESE DEEDS- HE FELT ENTITLED TO SIT WITH THE RIGHTEOUS AND INNOCENT?

A Christian writer told how he felt, seeing such people testifying to Christian teenagers, that they enjoyed Alcohol, Drugs, Sex, and Violence- "...BUT NOW WE'RE FOR JESUS- HALLELUJAH!!!"

He said that he could see them calculating:

"I'm young- why can't I enjoy all those things- AND COME BACK TO JESUS, LATER?"

He refused at first to do what the Prophet Elisha told him to do, even though it was easy!

He decided that he knew better than the Prophet, how God should Heal him.

the servant of Elisha

hath spared Naaman
this Syrian,
in not receiving
at his hands
that which he brought:
but, as the LORD liveth,
I will run after him,
and take somewhat of him."

21. So Gehazi
followed after Naaman.
And when Naaman saw him
running after him,
he lighted down
from the chariot to meet him,

"Is all well?"

"All is well.
My master hath sent me,

'BEHOLD,

TO ME FROM MOUNT EPHRAIM

WE LEARN WHAT GOD IS FROM HIS SON; WE LEARN WHO HIS SON IS FROM GOD.

Lord Yeshua never claimed to be the Father of his Disciples.

Where, then, does that Teaching come from?

TYPICAL OYINBO THEOLOGICAL INSANITY: THAT IS WHERE!

The Pharisees created a Law that said that Children were the equals of their Parents, and need not obey them any more.

Therefore, when Yeshua claimed to be THE SON OF GOD, he was LEGALLY demanding to be recognized as being equal with God.

Some Oyinbo Theologians decided to ignore Lord Yeshua's disclaimers, and declare him the equal of God.

Not all Churches agree with this Theology, but accept that Yeshua is inferior to God: The Father- notably the SEVENTH DAY ADVENTISTS, and the JEHOVAH'S WITLESSES.^®

Some Churches even go so far in the opposite direction, as to say that "JESUS" WAS THE ONLY GOD THE WHOLE TIME.

As I said: OYINBO THEOLOGICAL INSANITY.

HOW CAN A SHEEP OF LORD YESHUA COMMIT SUICIDE?

It is impossible.

THIS EXACTLY WHAT YOCHANNAN BAPTIST WAS TALKING ABOUT!

which bringeth not forth

THE YOUNG MAN DID NOT COME WITH FRUITS MEET FOR REPENTANCE, BUT RATHER DRESSED IN THE UNIFORM OF THE REBELLIOUS.

He preferred to DIE, rather than wear reasonable clothes.

What does that tell you?

HE NOW REAPED THE FRUIT OF NEVER HAVING GIVEN GOOD CLOTHES TO ANYONE!

A young man who was tired of living, decided that the best thing for him was to take his life. He was about to commit suicide, then he remembered what his mom use to say "Repent and come to Jesus and He will give you a new life".

Sinners are encouraged to come to the church for their redemption. The only problem is when a sinner remain in his sin but want to be known as an usher or choir member and a member of the church.

You can't remain in sin and expect grace to abound

The word Churchgoers often imply wrongly is "REPENT"

In the Bible that word was not meant for Gentiles but Jews, a gentile never knew God's laws nor has his parents inculcated it in his heart as stated in God's word {Deuteronomy 6:4-6} so of what exactly do you expect him to REPENT?

You can never find a single place in the Bible where Christians asked Gentiles (none Jews) to repent. Before God could consider a Gentile fit for his presence he/she must first enter into a covenant with the God of Israel, so it's when he backslides that the word REPENT becomes appropriate not when someone who knew nothing about God's requirements is asked to repent please repent from what exactly?
A Traditionalist believes he/she is holier than your Pastors because they are seeing all the atrocities committed in the name of Church so you dare not walk up to such a person to tell him to repent!
So Churchgoers misconstrued the whole thing!

KEN CANTRELL serving on the Aircraft Carrier, THE LAKE CHAMPLAIN, in 1953, was in a Catapult-Room explosion of fuel stored there.

About a dozen crewmen were killed immediately, when burning AVIATION FUEL engulfed them all.
