Yoruba movie actor, Lanre Omiyinka aka baba Ijesha escaped death in a fatal car accident. The accident however has left him in a critical condition. According to witnesses, Baba ijesha's attempt to Swerve off the road to avoid hitting a woman crossing the road failed as his car strucked her. The young woman identifed as Surat gave up the ghost after the doctor's
attempt to save her life failed. Another witness said the young woman is to be blamed for the accident, she got carried away by a phone call while trying to cross the road, as Lanre driving his toyota camry was caught unaware unfortunately hit the woman. The comedian's car which ended up in a bush near the road got damaged (beyond repairs) that left him with serious injury. The actor has been visited by colleagues; baba latin and others in a hospital based in abeokuta where he is getting medical treatments. Wishing him quick recovery
