News that was recently reported was that Nigerian international alleged scammer, Ramoni Abbas, aka Hushpuppi, was dumped by his lawyers has been found to be false. The fraudster was not dumped by his American-Jewish lawyer but the reverse was the case, he fired them.

Hushpuppi, as you will recall was arrested last year in Dubai for fraud allegations and scams and whisked away to the United States where he stands trial. The case still lingers, thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Nigerian investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, took her time out of her medical leave to explain it all and also to point out that this latest move was the worst decision of the scammer's life. She said that these fired lawyers are one of the best criminal lawyers availabe and with them Hushpuppi stood a better chance in his case.
