Yeah. Totally, ancient Egypt had a lot of blacks and other races due to its somewhat nodal position as even Alexander the Great built a city over there at a point in time. I just don't know why they've tried to whitewash history to the point of almost entirely deleting the blacks out of Egypt's history... Same as WWI, WWII and other important events. AlfaB: The ancient Egyptians were black skin Africans. The Egyptians you see today are mostly descendants of Arab invaders. Is like mistaking white Americans to native Americans. Judybash93: It was the rise of European racism in the 18th century that led to the whitewashing of history. You must understand that prior to the slave trade, black Africans were regarded as the leading race on earth. The history of their multi-regional settlement and civilizing missions were known worldwide. The ancient Greeks referred to blacks as ''the blameless Ethiopians'' on account of their high integrity and pious nature. (To confirm, go on Google and type in ''the blameless Ethiopians''. You will see numerous references from ancient Greek texts and sources) Jesus and Mary, plus the ancient Israelites, Canaanites, and Egyptians, were all depicted and recognised as blacks in European and world iconography, and Egypt was known as the fountain of human civilization. The black Africans were world pioneers in mathematics, the sciences, medicine, astronomy, architecture, and philosophy. As the slave trade raged, it became increasingly untenable for the whites to keep blacks in such high regard, while brutalising them and subjecting them to the horrors of slavery. So the way around this was to WHITEWASH history, and remove blacks from the history of world civilization, claim they were savages who built nothing but mud huts and lived in trees in the jungle, with western slavery seen as their 'redemption' from barbarism. They began whitening the statues of Egypt, and breaking off their noses to disguise their African features. They changed Mary and Jesus' images on Church murals, from black to white, and other such criminalities. But some of the old black Jesus and Mary images can STILL be seen in some European churches. The invention of speech, writing, mathematics, metallurgy, architecture etc - all traceable to Africa - are a lot more 'revolutionary' than anything else that came after them, because without those pioneering inventions and discoveries, there would be absolutely nothing to build upon. PLUS, we really do not know JUST HOW ADVANCED our Egyptian ancestors really were. Till today, nobody really knows the function of those pyramids. They were NOT tombs. Nobody was buried there. Were they conductors of electricity or some other energy force? We still don't know. There are artefacts from ancient Egypt that even suggest knowledge of FLIGHT.
