Why can't the car use rechargeable batteries instead of 9hrs charge.. Nigeria is not ready for electric cars we haven't even solved our electricity problem.. we should just focus on other things and leave electric cars for now

You are right. That's how that Ogun State clown, Gbenga Daniel, rebranded some pick-up vehicles and called them OLUMO. After the "unveiling" I have never come across any on our roads again.

How long does it take to charge your phone? It amazes me the way some youths think upside down in this country...you..yes..you, how many times do you have access to electricity in your home, which would allow you charge your car up to 9 hours at least? That could only take you to akure or Benin from lagos. I'm sure you charge your phone most times with either gen, car charger or in the office in case you work. You cannot compare your phone's battery with that of a car . The onus is on government to do the needful ahead of time instead of stealing. In a few years to come, no car would run on petrol.

lols no mind. 482km per charge is equivalent to around 3000 naira fuel. Generator running on 9hrs fuel to charge the electric car won't eat up to 3000naira fuel. So I go for the electric car

I weep for my country, how do you charge a car for the whole day or night, and when the battery drain the car will stop. So where do you charge the battery again. Is there any charge station in all the major cities in the country? We move.

oga, you did well .please, how many Nepa energy unit can give one 9hrs charge . When we compare it fuel equivalent ? Hypocrisy will kill us here because as advance as China is, they still run their industries on coal. We keep shouting emissions as if it is our problem now. Same way we carry COVID-19 matter more than the country that it is actually their problem

9hours electricity is very difficult in Nigeria honestly, infact even my home town which is village its just 4hours a day and 3 hours in the night that one na village ooo but come to town some towns in enugu here hardly boast of 7 hours straight light infact person dey find light make him take charge android phone say and we keep buying power bank, Nigeria should first improve on steady electricity first before introducing this new product its a good one it's healthy but 9 hours to charge a car no be small thing ooo

what happens when you enter lagos trafic, i've been in traffic from lekki to main land for 10 hours before , got home 1am? we are not illiterate sir. most people will result to buying fuel to charge this car, what sense does that makes mr literacy ?
