Highlights
On the 8th of February 2021, 643 new confirmed cases and 6 deaths were recorded in Nigeria
Till date, 140391 cases have been confirmed, 114635 cases have been discharged and1673 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory
The 643 new cases are reported from 19 states- Oyo (88), Lagos (86), Rivers (55), Edo (54), Akwa Ibom (53), Adamawa (52), Plateau (45), Kaduna (41), FCT (34), Kwara (27), Benue (20), Kano (19), Delta (18), Nasarawa (16), Niger (15), Bayelsa (11), Borno (5), Bauchi (2), and Sokoto (2)
A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities

Now the number is reducing, second phase going gradually.

A lot of people have contracted this covid nonsense and healed without knowing, thinking it was malaria.

So because not testing for an infection is a crime now besides people are not dying in Kogi then whats the point of test.

I guess they should start testing for malaria too everyday and reporting it too.

Covid is real but doesnt deserve any where near the attention we are giving it here in Nigeria. But we know wot the politician are after.

Notice also that the rate is dropping as the western world are gradually changing their tone about it too.

Remember the vaccine doesnt stop you from getting infected but reduce its effect or symptoms on you (you need like 2-3 jabs depends on the type we get) and it will be most likely administered yearly too. So when your country purchase this year they will again next year and the year after.

Watch out for the signs. Stay safe and live healthy
