National Assembly, at the level of the governors, local government and even councillorship level where state actors are expected to sit down with their people so that a lot of these issues can be articulated and addressed by the local population. “In fact, this is what the governors at their levels should do and not always running to the presidency to solve one dispute here and there. For a state government, for example, Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state, he pockets about N750m as monthly security vote but which has largely been confused, incompetent and unsupportive of security agencies in the state with adequate new and modern tools, technique and architecture to tackle crimes and violence, and which local government council chairmen also emulate to pocket tens of millions of naira monthly as security vote, it has rather become convenient for the leaders of the governments (Governor and Chairmen) to unscrupulously govern the people and victims by politics, lies, propaganda, fraud and deception rather than by transparently focusing governance squarely on the security of lives and properties as well as reduction of poverty. Hypocrites will avoid this our post so bad. Y'all should keep shouting Buhari Upandan while your governors, local government chairmen, councilors continue looting your lives and the lives of your unborn kids right in front of you. Dem no dey telli person. Na old una dey old dey go so, without using your brain to see where the problems in your lives really came from. Misplaced priorities in life. Macphenson:After PMB gave that huge amount of money to tackle security, the amount you read above up there, to your Governor, you still went ahead to type this jargons. (Almost ONE BILLION Naira every month paid to the Governor to secure his state!!) You still went ahead to open your mouth calling Buhari! Politics don do you something sha. Hatred is really worse than HIV. Just continue this your blind hatred for Nigeria, please never stop.....okay? It is obvious who the failure you are talking about is... It's so glaring. 4 Likes 3 Shares |

These whole Fulani domination has always been Buhari plans of coming to power. And he's doing it without fear. Going to ask him for permission before you will clear your forest of Fulani terrorist is nonsensical. There's secret Jihad happening that we in the south don't know about cos of ethnic and politics. Imagine Yorubas burning down Igboho house in retaliation of him asking Fulani terrorist to leave Yoruba forest. SW politicians think Buhari is with them. OYO is your case. 4 Likes

The senate are always disturbed like Buhari. Maybe they are mentally disturbed in the right sense as they seem to be uninterested in issues that concern the common man. If they don’t solve this heardsmen/farmers issues knowing fully well with documented incidence where heardmens are going round Nigeria leaving a trail of blood and destruction, then the senate will also be consumed in the bloodbath that will ensue! I cannot sit and fold my hands while someone foreigner would come and claim my property! Rubbish government |

And when governors take action by saying herdsmen should register or vacate the forest reserves, they are summoned to Aso Rock to answer a case with the powers that be. The Governors can hardly control the FG appointed Police commissioners in their state. Insensitive and confused leadership! 6 Likes |

etibaba: You mean the state commissioners that are being controlled from Abuja? State Government do not have that say when it comes to security so long as the state Police are still being remotely controlled by the FG, so stop with the trash you are spilling. Or is it the different views on security by one state and FG Why do y’all act like you don’t see what happens each time a state Governor challenges the FG on security? Don’t you guys see the outcome? 1 Like |

They are aware that Buhari doesn't know their roles and responsibilities that is why they run to him. He then will rely on the likes of Garba to do the jobs for him. |

Same senate that often run to the same Buhari to sack service chiefs but cant even initiate impeachment proceedings against him for spurning their resolution for his to sack them thereby allowed wasting of lives because of their unproductiveness? Now everything is cast they are shielding the clueless president from his constitutional responsibility.Abi Buhari is no more the C-in-C as Jonathan theu were constantly harassing back then? 5 Likes |

I keep saying it as far as the rule of law doesn’t work in this country nothing will work. Why won’t they run to Buhari for security vote money? Do they check how they spend such monies? Nope who will check? Is it the auditors in the federal government? People that they will bribe? Is it the EFCC? People that are not operating independently? Who will check them? Nobody unless it’s for the sake of politics all politicians know the right thing to do they won’t do it because they all know their hands are dirty and they cannot expose each other. Abeg no dey yan dust oga go and sit down and enjoy your 29million per month. Don’t quote me if you don’t have a good view of the Nigerian situation In reality if not I go insult your papa 2 Likes |
