With the high surge of divorces and so many gory tales of spouses killing their partners, couples in relationships need to be alert and proactive to the ominous indicators in relationships. Some will say, ‘'love is blind to a fault" One needs to know what he or she wants in a partner, to decide if they want to remain committed to the relationship or not. Toxicity in relationship is not gender specific, hence partners involved need to be more self aware to know what they want.
Below are some negative signs and red flags one needs to beware of in a relationship:

1. Do not settle down with someone who lacks empathy or the ability to feel what others are feeling.
2. Self centeredness and entitlement syndrome - A narcissist has a cunning skill in manipulation. They spew blatant lies, gaslight and want you to apologise for their misdeeds
