I was unable to complete my 1 year internship due to the corona virus pandemic. At first I was sad and then I just decided to take a graphic design course online rather than being idle at home.. it wasn't easy learning sha especially because of the myth that only laptops can do graphics design but I used it to earn so much during my 1 year industrial training ... To the extend I wasnt touching my monthly stipend since the oil company that gave me placement were still paying their workers and IT students ... I just focused on my phone graphics design business and even had some to save. I did logos, flyers for people and many others. I now have a system at home but truth be told I prefer designing with my phone most of the time. And another thing alot of Graphics designers will hide from you is that there is money in Graphics designing.. You can work on different freelancing sites and also get work around you eg Church flyers, banners, business cards, flyers from student fellowship, etc. We live in a world where we cannot even do without graphic designing. Literally every single thing needs to be designed. As a matter of fact Graphic designing is one skill that can also help a student who is usually having financial constraint to make money without even affecting his/her studies.
