I made a vow to God not to use my phone to watch and download pornography , so i kept the vow . Later this week as I was going through my Instagram I saw a video that is sexual it was posted by a porn star which I follow , I scroll pass it then I came back, was tempted to watch but I don’t know how I did not then I unfollowed the account immediately, I then release that it was actually a type of trailer for a porn film but it was soft . So if I had watch that I would have broken the vow not intentionally but anyway it would have been a sin on me for breaking the vow . This made me to realize how tricky the devil is , very very tricky .it takes the grace of God to over come him cause I almost watch that video but something didn’t want me to .

And I know people will say how come a Christian is watching porn , well I’m just a baby Christian , so I’m still learning to do a away with something . Thank you

Something many don't realize about the devil is that he would hardly tempt you in areas you're strong but that which you're weak. That's why it's wise to keep pressing til you get to the point where he's not able to find anything in you as it was with the Master Jesus.

It's not easy to get to that point, but if you're truly willing, you've given God something to work with. He can help you get where you're willing to get to by His Spirit, and that should give you an idea of what actually happened when you didn't even know how but you were able to do what you were willing to do even though you were weak. It was God that helped you and gave you the strength to do so.

Importantly though, i'd advice that you don't attach much to what people would say but what God says about you. That would help you wherever you are or go, even when no one was there with you or watching you, as you know that God is everywhere and sees you, you'd be more concerned about what He sees than what men see. It would help you in making the right decisions and doing the right things in God's sight, because men can be deceived but not God.

Although Judaism introduced the concept of Satan, it differs significantly from the later Christian idea.

In Judaism, Satan is just another one of the many spiritual messengers (angels) that God sends to accomplish His purpose. Satan has no power independent of God; otherwise this would imply a lack of God's all-inclusive control and power.

It is my understanding that Christianity holds Satan to be independent of God; thus the idea of a “battle” between them.

What kind of errronous teaching is this one? He is not an adversary of God yet he will be chained for 1000years during the reign of Christ after that satan and his minions will burn in hell where there is gnashing of teeth, you are not serious.
